Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were great, clean. Has EV charging.

This Carlisle Best Western is the nicest $80/night motel I've ever stayed in! The room and the bathroom were modern and clean. The staff we encountered were polite and efficient. The interior decor is classic car themed as an homage to the huge auto show held in Carlisle each year. The only knock is their location, right next to busy I-81 interstate. While most of the highway noise doesn't enter the room, it is still there.

The hotel looks very nice and up to date. I love the breakfast and how long it was offered. I think 7-9. I liked how the hotel is pet friendly and at an affordable price. The staff however, was not stellar. We had an overnight flight and were so tired and thought maybe we could call and ask if we could check in early. I called and the guy who answered was very friendly and said it wouldnt be an issue if came in early. When we arrived, I was greated by a very rude lady who just told me no and didnt even look to see if that was available. I understand they need time to clean rooms and get things ready but the inconsistencies between employees was a big bummer. The shower was stuck and you had to really pull on the handle to get it warmer than room temperature and the WiFi was way too slow to even use it. We had a pretty long stay here and asking for our rooms cleaned was like pulling teeth. For the first week we stayed there we used the door sign to let the staff know we needed the room cleaned (new sheets, coffee supplies, vacuumed). During that first week they seemed to clean all the rooms around ours and never touched ours. The next week we asked the front staff to please clean our room. We did come back to new sheets and towels but no vacuuming or wiping down the tables or tv stand had been done. The week after we again tried to use the sign on the door to signal we needed cleaned but they never came in. We asked the front desk for cleaning and they said they would get it done. We came back later that day and it had not been done. We saw the house keeper next door cleaning and asked her if she could at least give us new sheets. She sighed and acted like it was a huge ask. She said she would after she finished the current room she was working on but never came back. If youre here for a short stay it should be fine but if your needing any type of friendly customer service I would avoid.
