Comfort Suites Downtown Carlisle

Rooms were clean but had a weird bevel on the floor under the carpet in several areas. It is an older hotel located in downtown Carlisle. The location is not the best, and I had a hard time finding where to go. It's located off the main road down an alley. The service was lousy! Asked questions, like where to park, and she acted like I was bothering her. U have to park in a parking garage, n u get a ticket. When u leave, u do not have to pay, but it was aggravation considering I was there for work and had to come and go frequently. If u need to be close to this area and do not have to leave in ur car, it would be an ok place to stay, but if u can, go to another hotel.

We booked our wedding here 3 years ago and booked my 40th birthday celebration yesterday. A completely different experience ! While both times, we were happy with the quality of the rooms and the amenities, Leigh, hands down made it that much better!! She is the kindest, and most professional and you can tell she enjoys coordinating events! She met every need, discussed all our options and helped every step of the way. Im not sure she stopped at all while hosting our party. She even set up the dessert table and made it look perfect!! The food was fabulous, the meatballs are delicious and the crab dip was so good and creamy. Leighs staff was top notch and its very clear that she treats them well and the environment they work in is happy! Last minute changes were accommodated and she never made us feel like we were being any trouble. And I can tell you Im extra, and can be over the top, she matched my energy. The bar was well stocked and she even made a special trip during the event to make sure my husband had his favorite, specific drink all night. Clean, friendly, professional and ease of planning. Leigh and her team at Comfort Suites, will always be our go to venue when we need to host an event! So glad the improvements were made since our wedding. She made it that much better. Thank you Leigh, my disco cowgirl 40th met all our expectations!
