Smt bank is a horrible bank I had over 40 thousand dollars in their bank and they didn't want to keep me as a customer of the tellers are very rude

Customer service will go through 10 minutes of hurdles to verify identity. Atm is constantly out of service. Have held my money numerous times over input errors on their side (4 times it was because they put in my address wrong somewhere). Customer service will waste so much time of your time... They will not tell you anything general, and everything you say has to be exactly what they see or they will not help you. Done with this bank. Customer service does not follow through. New ATM is so loud you can hear it from Trindle rd. New ATM also disperses bills messily, holding individual bills inside when you pull the rest out. The money doesn't even come out flush... Even tore one of my bills. The screen on the atm is highly reflective (weird for a screen designed to be outside and useable in direct sunlight). Can't even read the screen after 4pm because the reflection of the sun masks the screen image. This is the kind of ATM this bank chooses. Avoid. Locked out of my card for the umth time. I closed my account with this horrible bank. Manager should be ashamed of herself. ATM still disperses bills in a fashion that they tear when you pull out the cash from the machine. Bank can't do anything right. Nobody knows what is going on or communicating. Everything I was told regarding a new card was wrong and they took almost a month to get me a new debit card. Just keep this account for the boost to my credit by longevity. Worst bank period.

Rod Silvas made the relationship. I wouldn't have scaled without this bank. I took a $130,000 purchase to $1.6 million and this opportunity was due to financing S&T provided. Thier financing was involved in my taking a portfolio of $750,000 to a holding of 4 million. Banking customer service is nothing to me. I want a banking relationship that allows me access to equity, and quick enough to close deals. This back is it.

I've had accounts at S&T for a few years now and it always seems like there's a problem when I go there -- a lack of staff, lack of friendliness from the staff, a long wait to conduct business. When I've brought my concerns to management's attention, they are acknowledged and there's an explanation offered but nothing seems to change. Today I went in to make a deposit and I was inside for more than 15 minutes for something I think should have taken about 3 minutes. Meanwhile, the teller who originally waited on me walked away and the other one took over to assist me. This isn't the type of service I expect to get from any business much less a bank that has intimate knowledge of my finances. My experiences at this bank have been disappointing and I wonder why I stay with this bank.
