Worst dentist Ive ever been to. I made my appointment weeks in advance, I show up to my appointment and they say they dont take my insurance and tell me to leave despite having them on my insurance card as my PCD. I confirmed with my insurance company multiple times that they do in fact take my insurance weeks in advance. They are notorious for canceling patient appointments as they tried sending another patient home after canceling her appointment while she was in the office when I was there. What a joke!

AVOID. I preface this by saying that both I and my husband work in healthcare (nurses) so I get issues that can come up with staffing, insurance, etc. That being said, avoid this practice at all costs. The first time my husband went there, the front office staff was rude, unprofessional (yelling and arguing with each other in front of patients) and the wait was long. Despite this, he went back to this practice (100% turnover of staff which is telling, but at least the new people weren't cursing each other out) for a cleaning due to him already being established/changing his insurance to them. Well, when the dentist told him he needed a replacement filling and a cap, and that she could do both at the same time/visit, we went ahead and booked it. Took off work, etc only to be called 3 days prior to be informed that - surprise! She quit the practice. After more phone calls I got him booked into a different location only to have him get there and once in the chair be asked 1) what are you here for? 2) then be told that he was only booked in for a "visit" (no procedure) and 3) there were copays that had never been discussed or disclosed. Hour of waiting later, mass confusion and being told there was no "time" to complete the work of his original appointment, he walked out, as the dentist never even came in to see him. Honestly? I'm glad because if your office staff can't communicate basic things I don't trust these people to do any work and would rather him go to a different place. What a waste of sick time from work.

I requested repairs to my chipped front teeth. Dr Laila work in this area is horrendous. The teeth are NOW poorly shaped (one is protruding, and the other is going in the opposite direction. The color I requested (A1) was not provided. Instead, she applied B1 bonding, which is noticeably different. One tooth is shorter than the other. I returned to her office asking her to fix the work, and she gave me the impression that she would repair the teeth after my cleaning. At which time her only solution was to shorten my tooth to make it the same size as the tooth that was too short! I declined that offer. As I stated, one tooth is shorter, and then it needs to be. After more than a year in braces, my teeth are crooked, one is shorter than the other, and the color is all wrong! I must add that my bite is now off. Again, I visited the American Family Dental after getting my braces removed. My teeth were perfectly straight, and now they are not. The smile I had is gone, replaced with one, I am ashamed of. worse experience, EVER!
