    I am a bit surprised at the critical reviews of this location... I have a trust fund that covers my many medical conditions and associated expenses when I need to visit Medford... and my hotel bill is paid by a trustee, over the phone... which has been no problem, when done in advance. The staff here have been very accommodating to my needs, and the rooms (this is my 4th visit to as of today) have always been clean and quite comfy.. I like the security here because they monitor the grounds and parking area, my Tacoma truck has been safe here... also there are no panhandlers hanging about. the property is very clean and well kept. this Best Western hotel is now hands down my favorite place to stay, after staying at three other Medford hotels which had nice facilities but seedy feeling locations... I say "Well Done" to the staff here. very consistent in quality. ("update", another great stay, :) and I forgot to mention before that there is a very good internet connection here, as well as a McDonald's, a Taco Bell, Abby's pizza, and a really good "Grocery outlet" store only about a one block drive away.. It's very convenient for me, since I don't like driving after dark.

    Im a long time customer with Best Western as I have to travel for work. I was surprised at the experience I had when I came to this location because it was recommended by a coworker. The front desk staff (with the exception of the longer haired gentleman) was very rude and dismissive and the room wasnt well kept at all. There was trim that was peeling off the wall, the toilet handle didnt flush properly, the AC cover was broken off and there was trash from the last guest jammed behind the night stand. The walls were also so thin that I could hear a phone conversation that was normal volume from the next room over. With that being said, theres another Best Western in Medford that Id recommend to anyone looking to stay with this chain at a better location. Ill also be recommending this other location to all of my coworkers and warning them about this location. For the price, this just isnt worth it.

    My entire experience other than 2 things was TERRIBLE. 1st I booked the hotel bcuz it was animal friendly & noted my mom is disabled, has 2 service animals, I called ahead of time let them know, about 9hrs n2 the trip I did try 2 cancel & couldn't but it was same day so understandable, not a big deal just was tired of driving. After 14hrs driving, I get there & was super tired & at check in, told the blonde haired lady, swing shift 2-12-24 that my mom was disabled & had 2 service animals (my mom has Fibromyalgia & has bad vision due to her illness) & she says with a rude tone "service, service animals or emotional support animals?" & I asked "what?" reapted "I said service animals" & she with a attitude AGAIN said "well my boss is super strict about it, we just have 2 check that they r not ESA wen u say service animal" & I had to say again "I said service animal if they were ESA I would say ESA" then even after I repeated myself 4x that it was SERVICE ANIMAL & not ESA, I surpised how she treated me & had me sign a 'pet policy' which ok no big deal 2 sign a wavier 4 damages but seriously? shouldnt it b a animal policy? Regardless I asked "what do u need the registration or something?" & she said "if u have it I'd like 2 see it" so idk if she knows but even tho she did not ask directly it is STILL illegal 4 her 2 insinuate anything stating she needed 2 c it & my mom had it in a folder that was buried in all of our things from traveling, it's not required 2b shown anywhere but if she tries 2 charge me bcuz she was skeptical & had not even seen my mom or the dogs yet, she was being disrespectful wen i was nothing but nice & its HER JOB 2 b the nice 1, all I wanted 2 do was go 2 sleep. I feel I should report this 2 the Oregon state board of service animals. There should have been ZERO tension or question about this. I'm still contemplating it now that we're settled. 2nd off the room she put us in 211 the beds were TERRIBLE, it felt as if u put a big yoga ball on the bed & tried 2 sleep on it, my mom rolled off the bed once & her service animals barked 2 wake me (something she trained them 2 do if they cant leave 2 get help) & I had 2 help her up off the floor, she was n serious pain bcuz of it the ENTIRE rest of the trip & I am now wondering were the animals rooms all supposed 2 b 2nd floor? 3rd the outlets on the lamp next to the beds, both unusable? It was a 2 queen room & the only outlets were the 2 on the table which a lamp was plugged n 1 of the 2 & the other 2 n the bathroom, 1 was 4 the coffee pot. 4th the coffee pot only had 1 little thing of decaf & 1 little thing of regular, I didnt even bother getting coffee n the lobby wen leaving bcuz the entire experience was dreadful. 5th the guy who worked graveyard was super awesome, very polite told me 2 have a good night & everything (unlike the disrespectful blonde lady, who was rude & didn't say that) but anyway, I get a bunch of snacks & break a bill 4 change & go upstairs 2 get drinks from the vending machine & the 1st attempt it ate my $2 & read sold out on the Mt dew only after I put the $$ n, I tried 2 get so I clicked another & it told me 2 put more $$ n so I did, I was able 2 get 2 different drinks after putting n $6, then the 4th attempt I tried 2 get a Dr pepper & it ate $2 again, with 5 attemps I got 3 drinks. 6th wasn't a big deal but the plate n the microwave was not n it, atp dude I just wanted 2 heat up a cup noodle & go 2 bed after dealing with all the bs, so I had 2 turn the lights back on find it on top of the microwave & fix it before I could put the noodles n. I wanted 2 give 1 star bcuz of the blonde chick alone, then all the issues, but bcuz of the cool graveyard dude gets 10/10 & a decent breakfast I am giving a 2 but overall I really don't think even that is deserved, the dude excluded. This was SUPER jankity & I thought it would b nice bcuz the pics & reviews weren't bad. Idk maybe rude lady gave us the crap room on purpose. I'm sorry but would never recommend & won't ever b back on other trips. UPDATE: what a 'apologetic' response. 1 star it is Noteworthy details: Rude swing staff who questions a service animal not even seen yet, bad beds that make your eldery mother fall off the bed, not enough coffee, no outlets, poor everything. Decent breakfast and awesome graveyard dude.

A H, We are sorry your experience at our hotel was not happy. We require our visitors to let us know if their pets are ESA or Service animals. Our pet fee is reasonable and fair, but we do not charge for service animals with documentation provided, and we want to avoid the need to correct unintentional charges.
