Weve lived here a month and I can confidently say its been the worst experience of my life in regards to moving and apartments. We had no heat in our downstairs for the first two weeks of living here because they didnt make sure we had a way to turn the fireplace on and off - you need a remote and the last tenant either lost it or took it with them. When they finally brought someone in to manually turn it on we had heat but no way to control it so when you used the kitchen it became a sweaty sauna. Then when you try to vacuum itll throw your breaker and the fireplace will turn off leaving you with no heat again. Youll call, text, and email multiple times for multiple days and receive ZERO response and finally once they do respond theyll have no answers for you other than theyre working on it, they wont apologize for your terrible experience or take any ownership. Oh and dont expect to be able to get your mail, theyll only give you one mail key when you move in and spoiler alert it wont work. So youll have to wait by your window for the mail person so you can get your mail and Christmas packages. And when you ask about it in the multiple calls, texts, or emails theyll tell you they had to order new locks and then theyll have to catch the mail person to put them in but heres the catch they fired the in office person so who the hell knows how theyll catch the mail person. And since you have no heat maybe youll want to take a shower to warm up and clean yourself - good luck! Your hot water heater wont work! Stay away from these apartments, unless you love horrendous office staff. I wish we had never moved here - would rather risk getting shot in Portland, at least at our apartment in the city we always had hot water and a competent office staff. Update: The water heater was replaced so we do have hot water. Two small radiator heaters were also brought to us to heat the downstairs but we cant run both at the same time without it flipping the breaker nice intentions but mostly worthless - they dont have fans or anything to move the hot air either Update 2 (March 18 2024): We are on our third manager since moving in. The second manager offered us a $100 inconvenience credit in January - which was honestly disrespectful - and when we attempted to call back for further discussion, it was radio silence again for two months. Finally spoke with someone the first week of March, her name was Cadeyn (not sure if thats proper spelling) after repeating this entire story for a third time we requested a credit of at least half a months rent - even though it should have been a full month - or they needed to waive any fees to end our lease early and we would move elsewhere. They agreed to the half months credit. Cadeyn was professional and finally made something happen for us. Maintenance is slow and getting a response from them can be difficult. We still have those heaters from December that theyve yet to pick up even after submitting a work order and leaving multiple messages.

I don't typically leave reviews but I feel like this place needs it. This may have been the worst possible experience trying to rent. My friend and I first toured a townhome here in October. We were told that it would be ready mid November. We decided to go ahead with an application because the pricing and timing was perfect for us. Over the last month and a half we have had countless problems that have resulted in us not having a place to live yet. Frankly we gave up and have chosen to look elsewhere for a place to live. One of the first issues we had was communication. It was not uncommon that we would go at least a day or two with no update on where we were at in regards to the unit being ready for move in. Then three separate times we were told that the unit was ready. Each time within 48 hours from the day that we were supposed to move in we were then informed that for some reason or another the unit was not actually ready. The most recent one was the day of move in. Then when they got to a point that they told us it was truly move in ready we went to see the unit and it was not the floor plan that we were promised. we were never even made aware that this floor plan existed until we saw it. Not only this, but the apartment was in fact not ready. the heating was not on, and there were multiple issues that needed to be addressed. Also partway through this whole ordeal the property manager that we had been working with go let go, so we had to pretty much start over with someone else. Julian and Alejandra were definitely more reliable than the person we were working with before, but there were still issues with getting ahold of people at times. Unless you're okay waiting for unreasonable amounts of time to get into an apartment that may or may not be ready when they tell you it is, I would not recommend even applying here.
