Very nice guy, but my wife was ultimately very disappointed with the quality of his wallpaper installation in a primary bedroom closet and primary bath toilet room. Daniel told me that he could not have done a better job, that we should only look at seams from 6 feet away and that we shouldn't run our fingers over seams to assess them.
I ended up getting a second opinion from another wallpaper installer the day after Daniel finished the project. That second installer diplomatically said that the quality of the install would not be difficult for him to improve upon. The second installer also did say that, in Daniel's defense, the peel and stick wallpaper we bought in the primary bath toilet room was not a good option for an older home with imperfect walls (lesson learned).
We treated Daniel with respect and kindness. We wish that he had told us upfront that we needed to prime the walls before installing a second layer of wallpaper. We are also disappointed that he did not take any responsibility for not meeting the boss's standards and expectations with hanging the primary bedroom closet wallpaper.

We have had two awesome experiences with Rose City Painting. Dan put up some wallpaper and painted a couple rooms in our house, and we're thrilled with his work. He's fun to have around, very quick, and does really quality work. I'll never hire another painter again!
