I cannot find enough superlatives to describe Hernanz Painting; I recommend this company MOST HIGHLY! From the very first time I spoke with Eric, the owner, I knew that my home was in excellent hands. Initially, I called the company that painted the interior of my home quite a few years ago, but was told that they no longer come out this far into the suburbs. I asked if they could recommend anyone, and they highly recommended Hernanz Painting. I called Eric to discuss painting the exterior of both house and shed. He came over to survey the job and said that the siding was too damaged and needed to be replaced. I wasn't terribly surprised by this after 32 years! At my request, Eric recommended a local siding company, A Cut Above Exteriors, which also did a fantastic job. Then it was a matter of waiting for our excruciatingly rainy spring to dry out so that the painting could be done. Throughout those months, Eric was communicative and very helpful. He graciously allowed me to add on some miscellaneous indoor painting (one whole room + various touchups). It actually worked out well: When it wasn't raining, the painters worked on the exterior; when it rained, they worked indoors. Scott pressure washed the house before painting started--and (at my request--another add-on) also pressure washed the patio and walkways both before and after painting. Tim and Jimi, "my" painters, are terrific: very skilled, helpful, kind, and fun to have around. I've never before said that I enjoyed having contractors working in/on my home (and I may never say it again), but I actually miss them now that they're done! Everything about Hernanz Painting--from the owner to the crew--exudes integrity, top quality, reliability, and kindness/compassion/friendliness. I feel incredibly grateful that I called Eric, and I rave about the company at every opportunity. If you need painting help, call Eric Hernanz. You will not be sorry. Our deck got wrecked after we had our windows replaced and so we joined the masses in needing a painter to come out during prime summer season. I was only able to get a reply from Eric and another company. I was surprised to see how high the quotes were, as I was expecting for things to cost half as much. Luckily, Eric was kind enough to explain the cost and his quote was $100 less than the other company, who didn't respond to me despite my contacting them several times.Communication with Eric was great, he was responsive and would return phone calls/emails the same day. They were busy but they were able to paint our deck before the weather got really bad. His crew spent the day meticulously painting our deck, they detached the railing instead of trying to paint around it (hence the extra cost) and did a double coat of paint. It rained later that day/next day so Eric told us to contact him if touch ups were needed, and they came out first thing in the morning the next business day. They use Benjamin Moore paints and it was easy to look up the colors online. The paint still looks like new several months later. I'm keeping him in my contacts for any future paint jobs!

I had four painters provide an estimate which ranged between $5k-8k. Most offered either a one or two year warranty. Most only spot primed. And most used Sherwin Williams paint. Hernanz Painting is exceptional in every regard. They offer an eight year warranty. They fully prime the exterior. And used Roda paint. The crew is detail oriented, efficient and friendly. Eric is very easy to work with, responsive, thorough and helpful. He personally stopped by to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction after the job was done.
