DO NOT WORK HERE!! They fired someone close to me who bend over backwards for this company! This person worked at least 1 double EVERY WEEK, worked holidays, worked grave to day doubles when asked, worked at other houses with no problem. They dont care about their employees and continue to run them down and wonder why they are ALWAYS short staffed.

DO NOT WORK HERE!!! The management is awful!! The Manager I had didnt know what he was doing! He had no training at all whatsoever in conflict resolution. Every week I was telling him something about how another staff was not easy to work with and speak with. My Manager would

What to do or his favorite thing to say was I really dont care. I was sent to go work at a home that I had never been to and never met any of the clients who lived there. I worked there alone. The House Manager had to go home because she had been there for 24 straight hours. Her Boss the Program manager should have come and relieved her and did not! The person they sent to relieve me was not Medication trained. This wasnt smart because this person too had never been to this home and never met those Clients. How do you just stick people into places to work alone and not having any familiarity with the clients or home?! Just so the program manager can get out of their duties!

Stay away! The bad reviews are true.
Edit 2022: Worked here many years ago. Management culture was bitter, desperate, self defeating. Highly abusive, nepotistic with no oversight: The majority of the upper management were all members of the same immediate family. Read the other reviews and you'll get the gist.
Now many years later I see these same individuals leaving desperate, culty positive reviews that sound like they were written by some third rate PR firm. It's strange to think that such broken, moral-bankrupt people once held such tremendous power over my life.
I gave my twenties to Alternative Services only to walk away with one major lesson. A group home provider can justify anything! Just point south to Salem, to the ruins of Fairview and say "See! They were shackling folks in the basement. See! They had forty to one staffing ratios! As long as we aren't doing that, we can do anything else...and if you try to criticize us, it'll just hurt the consumers in the end."
