Super 8 by Wyndham The Dalles OR

They were doing a remodel I guess. We arrived around 2pm on Sunday March 24. The work was being done directly above our room, VERY VERY noisy, we had a long day of driving and could not relax or enjoy our room. It is 8:17 PM, we are Exhausted and they are still working. I talked to the guy at the front desk and he didn't seem to care about the customers needs. We will NEVER stay at a Super 8 again! Save your money, $100 per night and go elsewhere! Very VERY dissatisfied and disappointed!

This motel reeks of dog urine and rotten eggs. In the mornings, the odor is so bad that the maids have to open hallway windows, even in the winter. The carpets are so saturated with dog pee that there are urine bleach stains on every floor. The staff are the most unprofessional, rude people I've ever met. I think between the five I encountered, none had a full set of teeth combined. I've never encountered so many rude, foul employees in one organization before. Their "breakfast" consists of stale cereal and a filthy waffle maker. NOT worth even half the nightly price. I imagine sleeping in your car would be more comfortable and worth it than wasting your money at Super 8, The Dalles. Even Motel 6 (which is usually sub par) would be better than this dump.

The staff was great and I liked the location. I am in the Dalles for ministry several times a month and this is a great place to call home!
