The van was perfect for our cross country trek. We explored National Parks as we drove coast to coast. Customer service was great during pick-up, drop-off and in between.

My partner and I had an incredible week in the Mavericks Four-Oh-Five. I was initially a little skeptical because the odometer had over 320k miles, but we had absolutely no mechanical issues and it handled 1,700 more miles well for us. The bed was actually fairly comfortable and easy to pull out/put away. We added the electrical kit in case of cold temps at night, but we didnt even end up using it and kept plenty warm boondocking in late March. If youre thinking about renting one of these, wed highly recommend it. Theres nothing like the freedom of sleeping wherever you want (within the law) and waking up to 360 views of the sunrise. Youll get out of it what you put in, but this is probably our new favorite way to road trip.

Ok, so where do I start. Online, they advertised the van to be $33 a night , which is simply not the case. Insurance, miles, fees, bedding, cookware propane... All said and done, it's about $170 per night ( off-season February). Be honest with customers. It goes a long way. Feels like I am dealing with Frontier airlines. My van had almost 350k miles on it. And it shows. 350k miles of people sleeping in it. The headliner was disgusting, passenger seat was missing the armrest , rear heat didn't function at all , main heater would change by itself while climbing hills, one of the interior lights fell down, sink pump leaks all over the counter when using. There is no ventilation whatsoever in these vans. 2 people sleeping coats everything in moisture. These vans are very cheaply built. Bare minimum to even call it a camper. They bought a $50 Colman stove and made the minimal modifications to the vehicle to make it a camper. You are better off renting a minivan from a rental company, buy a stove and air mattress, and go camping. Speaking of the mattress...the bed is like the back seat in the old school vans that folds, then you add these 2 cushions to complete the bed. 4 total seams for your body to fight with. When the bed is out the rest of the van is not really usable. The table wobbles around in its base so bad that it must be stowed while driving because it keeps banging against the windows or your passengers So.. when you put the van in reverse, you here some sort of clicking coming from the rear-end. The traction control light keeps coming on randomly. I am sure that they have nicer vans, but this one desperately needs to be retired! Make sure you look at detailed photos, check mileage with your salesperson, and don't get the order vans! As far as staff at this location.... The lady that I had the pleasure to deal with was nice and helpful. Oh, and when you guys get ready to build new ones. Build in high top vans with 2 bunks in the rear that are easily removed( left to right) along with a complete pull out kitchen under the bed. Then you can have an outdoor shower and everything. Give the people a REAL camper van. For the amount of money we pay, we shouldn't have to stay at a hotel for a shower. A shower is as important as a bed. Especially when people rent these for festivals.
