My wife and I worked with Jacob Wathen to purchase our first investment property. We couldn't be happier with the results and the professional relationship we have built with him. Jacob was an incredible realtor for my first home purchase! Not only was he able to send me multiple listings in our price point, but he actually listened to all the specific details we were interested in when buying a home. Jacob was efficient, responded quickly, guided us through every process, and helped calm the nerves multiple times during the purchase. Jacob was able to send multiple contractors to help get the house inspected and fixed for move in. What I loved most is how comfortable it was to work with Jacob. In my opinion, he went above and beyond what any realtor should have to do. Jacob even was able to stay in contact with my loan officer to ensure funding came through. In addition, he attended the signing/closing, helped answer confusing aspects, and was able to help me feel relaxed until the paperwork was complete! I'd been talking with Jacob about purchasing my first multifamily property for about a year before pulling the trigger. During that time, he spent hours searching for deals, talking strategy and honing in exactly what I was looking for. We submitted offers on a few places and came very close to having our offer accepted. After a few attempts, I was on the verge of giving up for a while. There had been another duplex that I was interested in but had apparently gone pending without it saying so on Redfin or Zillow. Anyway, long story short, Jacob stayed on top of the progress of that deal, and when it eventually fell through, he was able to get me a tour and have my offer submitted ASAP. I'm now living in my first owner-occupied multifamily property and took that first step to build a real estate portfolio because of his skill and dedication. If you work with Jacob expect that he'll go above and beyond for you. He's professional, quick to respond, knowledgeable, and just a great person all around. I can't recommend him enough.
