I recently moved into a new home (to move in together with my partner) after being a tenant of Progressive Development Group for 7 consecutive years - the longest I've lived in one place so far in adult life. In that time, Paul and company have been remarkably accommodating, and kind throughout my tenure with them.
They were prompt to respond and resolve issues in the rare instances when weather or other external circumstances would require attention to the property.
If you are in a position to rent from this group, I can whole-heartedly say that you are in great hands. I can not recommend them enough.

Deven D. at Progressive has managed my properties for years. He is quick to answer my calls and emails, and always efficient at resolving any situation that comes up. Hes great.

I rented an apartment from Paul Niedergang / PDG from 2010-2021. Clearly, my experience was absolutely fantastic; and, from the very beginning, Paul was a truly wonderful landlord. He went above and beyond, always interacting with kindness and professionalism but also showing care for his tenants - particularly during the COVID lockdown. Communication about our rental relationship was appropriate and timely. He and his skilled, respectful team were quick to address repairs and made lovely updates to the units, such as adding mini splits several summers ago. I felt like a valued tenant, appreciated because of my longevity and responsibility. In fact, my rent was only raised twice in ten years and both times were by less than 3 figures. I cannot recommend Paul and PDG highly enough. He is a landlord that strives to provide affordable, comfortable housing for his tenants and anyone would be lucky to live in his properties.

I rented a lovely unit from Progressive Development Group from December 2014 through April 2017. I appreciated having a family landlord that was responsive to concerns and proactive in maintaining and improving the property. When I was concerned about a yellowjacket nest, PDG addressed it. When it was time to renew my lease, we talked terms and found agreement. I also really enjoyed getting to know the other tenants! I would recommend renting from this team who cares deeply for their properties and the communities they foster.

I lived at the property on Hawthorne Blvd from 2014 to 2021. I just got a new job and the landlord let me move in before I even got my first paycheck. He took a chance on me and I am super grateful!
This is a family-owned business and it shows. Responses were super prompt and I felt like I was always heard. If there was an issue with an appliance, he would get it fixed right away. One time I was even locked out and he sent the maintenance person to unlock the door that same day; I did not even have to pay a lock fee. Also, I lived there 7 years and the rent was only raised a total of $125! A heat pump was even installed for all of the apartments, which made the electric bills much cheaper.
The only reason I moved out is because I bought a house. I would still be there today if we did not get so lucky in the housing market. I even got my entire deposit back! In all my years of renting, that was certainly a first. I would definitely recommend renting from Progressive Development Group.
