Went in here Friday to send off my completed passport renewal and the passport lady demanded to inspect my documents when the website just said I could just send it off. The lady immediately told me my application was wrong because my signature was dated for the day before, as I had signed it the day before. Then she defaced my application with her highlighter when she saw that the website form filler autofilled a care of section after my apartment number and told me that I need to redo it without that part, and that its better to redo it in black ink anyway. My handwriting is atrocious so using a computer for this important document was necessary. By this point I am in tears apologizing to her because she was extremely rude and acting as if I intentionally did all this to make her day worse, but all the while telling me to go get a new application from the wall to fill out in front of her. I refused to do so because I didnt want to be bullied through the entire process and left. People like this should not be put in places where they can gate keep something as important as passport renewal. All I wanted to do is figure out how to send off priority mail and buy a money order, now I have to find another post office and hope that I can just send off my completed application without being harassed. I get that people have bad days, I was having an extremely bad day, but I wasnt mean to you, why did you have to be mean to me?

The passport experience was tense. The representative at the passport counter talked down to me and I felt like a child being scolded for not filling in a line.

Went to apply for passport and it was a good experience. The lady accepting passport applications ( Valerie I believe) was nice an accommodating. The post office was empty, no wait or lines or issues.
