Portland Security Alarm

No 24/7 service. When my alarm began going off at 10 pm the number rang and rang. The service company said that was the only number they had listed also. Absolute trash customer service. I would be dead if this were an emergency.

I'm a previous customer of Portland Security Alarm and I was extremely happy with them years ago.  Today I called and spoke to Mark, and I swear this is the same guy that I spoke to 1000 years ago.  Mark gave me all of the info that I needed, gave me prices and he will be coming out next week for a walk around.  We will install in a few weeks.  It took me about 24 hours to remember the company name, not a reflection on them, just my advancing age.  I recognized them by their yellow logo and then I had instant name recognition!  Very happy to use them once again!!

Cannot recommend these folks enough! We recently moved into a home with a security system they installed, and since the previous owners left us with no information, they walked us through every element of the system and and how best to upgrade it! If we ever need additional installation and service, we will definitely be going through them!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. All of my interactions with the office staff were the worst customer service experiences I have had. They were completely unhelpful and did not respond with any apology or urgency to their error. I tried multiple times to contact Mark the owner when they installers were on site and he never responded and the staff continued to tell me that he was in the field on a bid. So clearly he had enough time to call the office so they could call me back, but couldn't call me back directly. Then the office staff (Stephanie) said that he asked me in our initial conversation "several" times if the wires had been cut and if there was a box there. This was untrue. How would I know if wires had been cut. Mark said that the current renters were using their system so it would just be a matter of switching it over. When the installers arrived almost two hours late they said that it would be a complete install because they couldn't find the box. One installer said that he remembered being their when they first installed it. Funny - the staff person Stephanie told me that both were new and that they weren't trained to do a new install and that they wouldn't be able to get anyone out there for another month. Even though I emphasized that this was their error and that I had $30,000 worth of merchandise coming in to the store. BEWARE: DO NOT EVERY USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE AT FAULT!!!
