        Yesterday my 2-year-old son had a blood draw, he had previous ones at 19 months and 22 months. Prior visits were much better, but after yesterday I am strongly considering going to OHSU pediatric lab for future blood draws despite the inconvenience. Most disappointing was the customer service yesterday, it wasnt warm or welcoming or trauma-informed at all. Also the lab was out of pediatric needles so he was poked with the smallest adult needle. I would have liked to been informed by staff prior to making the trip to the lab, also Im wondering if staff could have made the effort to get a pediatric needle from a hospital department.

        Very easy to get around inside of the hospital. They still have people that greet you at the entrances to ask where you are going and to give you a badge and a mask. Safety is always a high priority!
