It was a sunny spring day as we followed the path to the back of the historical home. We were greeted with the view of Mt Hood framed by the evergreen trees and the view of the city below. With the sun heading west, the mountain to the east was cast in a golden glow. I heard shutters of cameras as folks stood at the edge of the grounds to take their pictures.
We had arrived late and the building was closed. However we did have a great time admiring the architecture of this historical building and walking the paths following the perimeter of the grounds.
