From start to finish the Jacobs Heating team have been great. We did a lot of research, checked Oregon CCB info, and are happy we decided to have Jacobs replace a 30 year old furnace and water heater, add AC, and replace very old venting and roof vents. They had competitive pricing and communicated quickly. They were also diligent about communicating all aspects of the job before and during, and cleaned up the job site at the end of every day. Having a city inspector tell you that they did an exceptional job was a nice bonus.

Jef S represents this company above and beyond. Jef S is extremely knowledgeable and teaches the customer. I would highly recommend Jacobs. It has been 3 years since Jacob's attempted to replace my gas furnace with a heat pump and provide AC and heat to my second story. I have never had a worse experience with a company than I have had with them.
The first heat pump was under sized, they claimed it was because my "couches were acting as cold reservoirs". After months of them coming out and us using electric heaters at great expense they finally admitted we needed a larger unit.
Next they installed a mini split in my attic, with the drain pan oriented the wrong way. This caused my guest room to flood with water and it took months to repair. Fun side note the ceiling had asbestos and needed to needed to be completely scraped.
The new heat pump did not keep the house warm as well, I'm not sure if it's also undersized or installed improperly, but it cannot maintain 66 degrees in 35 degree weather. They came out again and installed auxillary heat, which is expensive (more so than my previous gas furance), but get this also does not work when the temperatures go below freezing.
So it's been three years, they have flooded my house, and I have spent hours and hours having them come back to try and fix the system they installed. It still does not work, unbelievably, I'll be searching for a competent company to clean up their mess. I waited a long time to write this review, hoping they could right the ship, but waking up cold this morning after three years and tens of thousands of dollars was the final straw. I can't get my time and money back but hopefully someone who reads this can learn from my mistakes.

They offered to fix some of the problems for $1000 lol. Are you kidding me? How did they even come up with that round number. I said no, they said they would see what they can do for free and call me back, that was 4 months ago and I still have not heard from them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
