The best part of staying here is a great location close to food, shops, and IKEA. I'm sure it is convenient for the airport too, but that didn't apply to our needs. The room was "okay". The bed was kind of lumpy feeling, did not care for the pillows. I didn't sleep well because of that, along with the temperature. We like to sleep in a cool room (below 65), and this was WAY TOO WARM. Would have been nice if the bed had a top sheet, so I could've peeled off the comforter. It's the simple things. In the morning, we discovered the shower control handle fell off after turning on the water. Like really? Airplane noise is present, but not bad. Also, you have to pay for parking separately, which would have been good to know in advance. Lobby area has a heavy soap, cleaning product type smell. I wanted to gag every time I walked through. Smelt terrible and not welcoming. Smell made me feel like I was walking into a retirement home.

The rooms need updating and renovation. One window shade was broken. But decent for an airport hotel.

First and last visit to aloft hotel. As a marriott gold member I believe there are better options. Good first, front counter was promt and always present. Guest room had tea! Marriott have been cheap lately and often only provide in room coffee. 1 comp bottle water in room. The bad, shower has frosted plastic wall that is visible from bed. The entire hotel has a funky perfume smell that didn't go well with my asthma. Soap, lotion, shampoo and hotel in general had this overwhelming perfume. Walls are thin the person next to me I'm positive could here me coughing as I could here them opening the blinds like we were in the same 2 ft radius. The cleaning lady banged on the door before 9am. I said stop and they proceeded to unlock the door all in the same 10 seconds not waiting for a response. Wanted to know if I wanted room service when I was checking out that day. Someone opening your door prior to 9am without letting you respond to knocking is unexceptable!

My Car was broken into. The only thing I had visible was a blanket in the back seat. I get it happens but management never even made a courtesy call or made any effort to contact me after I reported it. Rooms were weirdly set up and felt cluttered. Lighting was Dim and there wasn't even a microwave in the room. There was however a fridge that was conveniently placed under the bathroom sink? You cant open the shower door without it getting the floor soaking wet and there's no where in the shower to put personal items other than the floor. There was a guy at the desk who wouldn't smile or even look at you as you walked in. The planes and Ice machine woke me up every hour or so. Probably the worst overall experience I've ever had with a hotel and that was all before my window was smashed over a blanket. I will not be back and have already suggested my company stop booking rooms here.
