Young at Heart is a wonderful place. Dora and Claudio welcome your family member in and treat them with love, respect and dignity. I'm so glad we found them for our loved one. The home is beautiful, very clean, safe and Dora is a great cook. Dora also is an RN and has such a calming personality, she puts you at ease immediately. She and her husband, Claudio are exceptionally patient, caring people. I highly recommend Young at Heart for the needs of your loved ones.

As a long term care professional for 30 years, I can't speak highly enough of the care provided by Dora and Claudio. Young at Heart is a family run care home, where residents are really treated as family. The warmth and attention to detail is unparalleled. The fact Dora is an RN is also a huge plus. There is a reason for the high ratings Young at Heart gets.

My mom chose Young at Heart, and I am so glad. The home is lovely, with nice features such as a large deck. The residents' rooms are very nice, with lots of storage and a well-appointed bathroom. Mom loved the food, which was fresh and wholesome and smelled great. Most importantly, Mom was happy there, loved and was loved by the people that cared for her so skillfully. The caregivers boldly developed a strong relationship with my mom, knowing that she was there to end her days. Dora's insights and care as my mom was losing her vitality were invaluable. Maria's joy in working with mom was a gift. Other residents seemed relaxed and happy, too, and it made for a wonderful environment, a wonderful place.

My mother lived in this home for 5 years. During that time Dora and Claudio were always attentive to my mother's situation as she lost her mental and verbal capabilities. The entire facility is very clean and my mother was kept very clean and well groomed. Dora had great communication with my mom's hospice team, notifying them of all medical issues/changes she observed and advocated for my mom. Over the 5 years Dora and Claudio saw me through the sudden death of my father (at his home) and through my mother's final days. We had laughs and cries throughout this tough time period (for me as an only child). They always treated my parents and I as family and still treat me as family even after my direct connection with them has concluded.

These are never easy decisions - I feel fortunate to have made this choice when we did as my dad spent the last year of his life at Young at Heart...it was a difficult year with many health challenges. Dora and her entire team provided exceptional care. They were vigilant, attentive, compassionate and kind even when it may have been challenging due to his changes in mood, declining health, and loss of independence. Dora kept me informed of any changes and allowed me to be with him in his final days/hours. The home is immaculate & beautifully appointed. The meals were homemade, hot and tasty, Personal hygiene support was provided in a respectful and consistent manner. I was so grateful for their partnership in tending to his needs that went far beyond what I could have provided on my own.
