I got there and everyone was very helpful, the receptionist at the front explained my insurance well, and Dr. Ross gave me a very well in-depth eye exam. I got my glasses and they are amazing will be recommending them to everyone.

One of the 1st things I loved is how much more indebth my eye exam was and how much more the doctor was knowledgeable in answering my questions. They were very helpful in taking time to find me contacts for my wedding. Everyone was very helpful and I also found an adorable pair of glasses that I'm always getting complements on.

I had an appointment scheduled and Dr. Katie Ross refused to see me for the comprehensive vision exam that I had scheduled. They made me wait 20 min and then said it was past my scheduled appointment time even though it due to them making me wait. I have never left a review but Im so upset with the lack of empathy of how they treated me that I felt the need. I will not be going to myoptic in the future and recommend you dont either.

I got my appointment time mixed up and an employee called to see if I was still coming. I said yes, I thought my appointment was at 2:30, I can be there at that time. They said fine. I show up at 2:32 and the employee at the desk acts like Im lying about talking to someone there about changing the time. Another employee gets off the phone and was apparently who I talked to and decides to tell me then that 2:30 wasnt a reschedule it was a 15 min grace period from my original 2:15 appointment time. This could have been communicated on the phone. I would not have tried to make it on time if I knew 2 minutes past 2:30 was going to be a hard line. So rude.

I've been going to the well known metaphorical fast-food equivalent of optometrist's offices since the mid-90s and figured it was time to act like an adult and go to a "real-deal" office. The staff was polite but not very personable, the doctor was much more involved and very knowledgeable but talked me out of bifocals which I don't understand at all and truly regret complying with. My glasses have never been cleaned with anything other than microfiber cloth and have never been dropped but showed tons of scratches within 2 weeks, they showed more wear than the lenses of my McGlasses did after 6 years of use. I was told when I bought the glasses that they came with a 2 year warranty against scratches but when I took them in for repair I was told that they could only be serviced twice. All things said and done, I paid around 5 times as much for an unsatisfactory experience and the worst lenses I've ever had in nearly 30 years. Now I keep getting emails about live music performances at their shop and all I can think is that they've been overcharging their clients to the point that they have money to spend on live music... Absolutely awful business. Turns out the "adult" thing to do is be practical with your money regardless of the vibe and end up with a more durable product.
