I've been going here for years. The staff is friendly; the doctor is affable and professional. I have always had a positive experience with this business.

I switched to a more expensive eye insurance this year because I wanted to go to a locally owned business instead of lens crafters etc. I stumbled upon this location as it was close to my house and it seemed pretty cool. After the first two visits however, I don't think I'll be going back to this place. Dr. Clouse was fine enough, knowledgeable, straight to the point. He did a superior contact/frames fit and the changes he made to my prescription definitely improved my overall vision. However, his aptitude didn't make up for the utterly poor customer service I received from the front desk. The first visit, I was looking at frames after an exam, and a lady with 30+ years experience, was friendly at first, but then touted her knowledge to be above all when I asked her a question about glass index. She said "how do i explain this in laymen terms" ? I didn't take notice of it, placed the order for the frames and scheduled a follow-up for next week, thinking it was a weird thing to say but whatever. On the return visit, the same woman was completely rude when I asked her for an itemized printout to give to my insurance for a copay. She verbatim blamed me for losing the piece of paper she had supposedly given to me already, although I had only been standing there for five minutes. Which fine, even if I did lose it, don't blame the customer and make them feel bad about it? After I was collecting my thoughts and looking over the bills, she rudely says "I'm done here" as if to shoo me away. The entire time she wouldn't even look me in the eye, instead did that awkward, weird thing of looking really busy and ignoring the person in front of her. It was as if I was inconveniencing her with my presence at the front desk. I have never received such personally, terrible customer service from anyone before. She obviously knows her job very well, but she must hate her job because she made me feel like I was the worst person ever when I walked away from the office. Sorry Dr. Clouse and the other receptionist, you guys were great, but that particular individual really put a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be recommending you.

Dr. Clouse is a wonderful doctor. His office manager Kristen is unnecessarily rude. They have just lost my family's, all six of us, business because of her. I'll never go back again.

I've been a customer of Eyedentity for quiet a few years and upon my latest visit I was disappointed with the optical office staff. I loved having Jenna and other previous staff do fittings for my new glasses. Obviously that service is no longer offered and the frame selection isn't that great.

I purchase a pair of frames with clip on sun-glasses. The plastic frames changed shape and the clip-ones never actually fit well. After I brought them in to be re-sized the sun glasses broke. I was told it was under warranty and that they would have them replaced. That was last September, since then I have been in twice, called twice, each time I am told they will look into it and get back to me. They never once tried to contact me. Today I was told the replacement was discontinued and they would do nothing about it. That I could pay someone to fix it if I still had the tiny arm that had broken off the glasses. Do not buy these types of frames, and I think for the money I paid I would get better service.
