College Bound & Ready

Working with Kristen as a college consultant made all the difference. While most college consultants have processes in place to keep the students on track and focused, Kristen really takes the time to understand the student and their goals and aspirations. This is what truly sets her apart from other college consultants. We've worked with Kristen for two of our daughters and are grateful that we did. Applying to colleges is a complicated and stressful process, but having Kristen made it more manageable. Both our daughters applied Early Decision (ED), and it was amazing to watch them get into their dream schools and know by mid-December. They were both confident in their decisions because of all the pre-work they did with Kristen, including researching schools, participating in online and in-person tours, and engaging with current students and professors. Kristen allowed both our girls to present the best versions of themselves to colleges while still staying true to who they are. In today's competitive environment, it's crucial for students to focus on finding the college that is the "best fit" for them rather than solely relying on statistics and data. Working with Kristen gives you confidence that your children will have a strong college plan, and they will discover a lot about themselves along the way as well.

We are so glad that we hired Kristen for our daughter, especially after realizing the number of tasks needed to prepare for SAT, major interests, college choices, applications and essays, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, deadlines, etc. There is absolutely no way we could have done this without her. Our daughter's choice of schools, some of which wouldn't have been on her radar, acceptance rate and scholarship offers directly reflect Kristen's efforts to corral a very busy, often overextended, student at the right time. Working with Kristen was key to my student achieving admission to his first choice reach school. From the beginning to the end of the process her guidance set him up for success. There are so many components to a successful application we had never thought of or realized. By starting early with her in the comprehensive program he was able to complete all the things needed to maximize his chances to gain admission to a highly selective school and a spot on their football team. She provided excellent guidance for the sports recruiting process every step of the way - from how to get coaches attention, to how to communicate with them throughout the process. Kristen also has a special gift for working with young people in this age group and managing all the quirks that come along with it. My highest recommendation!

I highly recommend College Bound & Ready. Kristen Miller worked with my two girls, one who will be a freshman at Tulane and the other was accepted to 9/10 schools (waitlisted at 10th) and is currently deciding where she will go next year. I think starting early with College Bound & Ready is best if possible because Kristen can help kids select their high school classes, give ideas about researching colleges etc. It took the pressure off me as their parent. I didn't have to be on the kids constantly getting them involved. Kristen comes with a wealth of knowledge on schools and if, in the rare occurrence, she doesn't know the answer, she will take the lead to get the information directly from the school. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for my kids.
