The Payton

The Payton is the best place to live. I used to work here and then transferred to a different building, but I missed being there so much I decided to move in. The residents are amazing. They have events twice a month which are always creative and so fun. It is a perfect location surrounded by houses, but so close to walk to delicious local eateries and fun shops, while still being close enough to downtown and the freeways that it is easy to get anywhere. My apartment is beautiful with a gorgeous view through floor to ceiling windows and gas stove that I love. It also has so much storage. The maintenance team, Louis and Raphael are so good and sweet, and take care of anything quickly. Blanca is the hardest worker, keeping everything clean always with a huge smile! Management is always quick to respond and is great about keeping us informed about anything going on in the building. It feels like family here. I cant imagine living anywhere else!

No one should pay these prices to live above a highway. Also, touristy part of town. 0/10

The Peyton is a wonderful place to live. High class amenities and the apartments have good layouts. But where they really shine is their staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and they consistently plan community events throughout the year.

My mom has been living in the building since March 20 20. She has a two bedroom apartment and pays almost $4000 a month. She has lymphoma and is a transplant recipient and 80 years old now. Since the new management there has only been cosmetic improvements the basics the elevators have been down multiple times which is very dangerous and an emergency. The garage has been left open for days and the building has had many break-ins through the stairwell. The 24 hour concierge that she required and picked this building for is nonexistent now. The employees are never to be found and extremely unhelpful and rude. My mom was left without air-conditioning for over six months due to building issues. Theyve never been apologetic nor compensating. What an embarrassment for a company that has an apartment building right on 84. First impressions and appearances are extremely misleading. Definitely not worth close to $4000 a month for a two bedroom basic apartment. The management company should be ashamed of themselves. Ill be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. They gave her one hour to move out today and I have a slipped disc and unable to help. Fortunately, one handyman that she has befriended was able to help her load up her car as she is wheezing and extremely weak.
