    Friendly folks working here!

I lived at Burnside 26 for 3 years. At the beginning there was a great community and lots of perks of living here (e.g., Happy Hours). However, even before COVID, these events have gradually stopped. Further, during my time living in this building, it has become increasingly unsafe. Now its common for break ins to the secured bike room and resident parking garage. My utilities and fees have nearly tripled since 2019 with low transparency as to why despite my usage being stable. While I love the neighborhood and it's close to good food and bus options, I would recommend looking at the newer buildings that might have similar/lower rent, better amenities (e.g., gym), and increased security.

I lived here just over a year and enjoyed it for the most part. The rooftop is cool, the staff are very kind, and the maintenance guy Ralph was absolutely amazing best maintenance I've ever had. Sadly there were some bike thefts, but mine somehow survived in the bike room just fine during my time there. They also installed more security cameras, which was very appreciated. It's also a really great location with Whole Foods right there. But the main downside and reason I moved out is also a location one: The Coca-Cola factory on Couch has constant delivery trucks coming through, starting at around 5am and ending in the early afternoon. That got pretty exhausting, and would often disrupt my sleep, so I wore earplugs my whole year here. If you're more sensitive to noise, the courtyard-facing apartments might be better I think. Overall this is a pretty great building for the area, and as with any apartment, there are compromises if you want your ideal neighborhood.

I am very impressed with my experience of living at Burnside 26 The application process was a breeze, and the promotions were too good to pass up! Communication from the leasing office has been incredible and easy. They are super transparent, and felt that there were no hidden agendas or moments where we felt we had to read between the lines. So far we have felt very supported throughout the process! Amenities are lovely and clean, I have frequented the rooftop lounge for studying and virtual meetings. The staff here leave treats and beverages for the tenants in the main lobby. They recently implemented cold brew and kombucha on tap, which feels very Portland! There are also treats for doggo's and there is a grooming station for them. There is also a large park where people have doggie meetups on an opposing corner. We appreciate that this is a no-smoking zone, and that the building is kept so clean! We have really high ceilings and we live on the first floor. So far the noise level is totally minimal. From what we can tell our neighbors above us have dogs and we can barely hear them. We also live above a garage on a corner and don't hear anything from the garage. The only noise we hear is the large trucks going to the Coca-Cola factory nearby and truly that isn't a bother. Also the location is so incredible, this is the mecca for restaurants and shops. Whole Foods is a block down the street. You have everything you need in a very, very short walk. So far would totally recommend!

Spoke with Gina last week and she told me she would send me pictures of an apartment. I was really wanting to move quickly and basically telling them this. She never sent the pictures, I tried calling multiple times and their phone system is a joke. No one answers it. Left a message the following day after more attempts . Got a generic email from Jordan, who seemed to be very disorganized. He apologized and sent the pictures finally, and I made an appointment to see the apartment today at 2pm. Well I get there on time, waiting in the rain while I was told to use the buzz in system that just sends you to their voicemail . No one answered, and I could see no one was at the desk. Basically I waited for 15 in the rain for nothing, no response and no one showing up for the appointment they set up. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. Avoid this place, they do not know how to do their job.
