Converse Court Apartments

UPDATE: Since I wrote this a few days ago my neighbour's ceiling and collapsed in 2 places because the roof drains weren't cleared before the predicted rain storm. Flooding from 5th to first floor. Now it should be condemned. Massive citations by city inspector!! *************************************************************** I have only lived there 4 months and I have had to request maintenance at least ten times for different problems. The bathroom is absolutely not up to code but good luck getting a building inspector during COVID. Cockroaches, needles in the hallway, constant package theft are some other features. A few days ago someone left their credit card in the laundry room. It was taken, used and put back!!! The owner has obviously never tried to live in one of these apartments, as she can be quite dismissive, as when I told her that my houseguest's vehicle was siphoned of gas. She said something like: Well, that's city life! ...and did not make the information available to other tenants so that they would know to get locking gas caps.

Living at Converse Court has been a great experience through and through. we have loved the vintage charm, the walkability, and easy accessibility to the highway. Because it is not off a very main street, parking has been a breeze. The residents in the building were always friendly, and the property manger, Catherine, has been nothing but an absolute pleasure and amazing every step of the way. We are very sad to leave and Converse Court will always hold a very special place in our hearts!

During my two years at Converse Court I enjoyed the multitude of activities the neighborhood has to offer from the restaurants on 21st and 23rd to the easy access of Washington park and the rose gardens. The apartments are charming and perfect for a young business professional. Beyond the apartments and the neighborhood itself the manager, Catherine, is a wonderful and caring individual who is both responsive and warm. She makes sure that things are as they should be while maintaining a genuine connection with her tenants. The groundskeeper, Mo, is also absolutely wonderful and welcoming and I cannot speak more highly of both of them.
