Grove Veterinary Clinic of Newport

Ive had wonderful experience at the Grove Veterinary Clinic of Newport. Dr. Hurty has been exemplemary with the care of my two cats (one that has asthma and the other cat with newly diagnosed diabetes). Ive since moved out of the Newport area and my diabetic cat went out of remission and I reached out to Dr. Hurty on advice. I have a local vet that have seen the cats before but not recently and without starting from scratch on care, I reached out to Dr. Hurty (knowing that eventually..sadly I will have to continue their care locally at my new home). At the time the only person I trusted was Dr. Hurty to give immediate advice and care and he once again went above and beyond. I know that he is an extremely busy doctor, but I never feel rushed or feel less important even when I now live out of town. I want to thank him a million times. My two cats mean the world to us and this kind of care and attention is very appreciated. The rest of the staff at the Grove is awesome too by the way. Im sure going to miss having such wonderful care of my cats at The Grove.

Vacationing from spokane and our dog needed a vet immediately and they took him in even tho they were very busy! Very appreciative!!

We had an emergency and our regular vet couldn't accommodate us, so I walked into Grove to ask for assistance. They were obviously slammed. People and animals were in the waiting room and two employees at the counter were juggling answering the constantly ringing phone and checking clients in and out. I didn't feel hopeful, but I approached and explained the issue. Immediately I was told that they didn't have open appointments, but to take a seat and they'd work it out. Within minutes, my pooch and I were escorted back and met an amazing vet tech and then Dr Luna. Dr Luna was immediately concerned. She proved to be compassionate and caring. She determined stitches were necessary and took quick action. Overall, I was impressed that, despite being very busy, the seriousness was recognized and accommodations were quickly made to get my puppy the care needed. I was satisfied and thought highly of our previous vet, but we moved our dogs' business to Grove for the future. Sometimes it just comes down to who treats me best in a crisis and Grove and Dr Luna really came through.
