Dr Goforth was so gentle when removing my ingrown toenails. I have had ingrown toenails since I was a kid and several other doctors have removed them in the past and it was quite painful. I hardly felt anything when Dr Goforth numbed up my toes and he treated them in a way that they should never reoccur. Thanks Dr Goforthyour awesome!

Greetings.... As a 63 year young woman, it was disheartening to find that my active lifestyle was diminishing due to pain in both my feet. I could visually see the changes also, with toes beginning to overlap and bunions becoming more and more prominent. After researching non-surgical options (none worked), it was clear that medical intervention was my only choice. Now, I don't know about you but for me it was a scary situation to face (or would it be foot?)! Surgery mean putting my trust into someone who will not only be the actual contractor of designing and rebuilding my body parts but also be my guide, advisor, and support person throughout the whole experience. As a Rouge Valley resident for over 40 years, I was fortunate to have friends in the medical profession I could ask for potential recommendations...and I received many... but I kept hearing Dr. David Goforth's name with glowing reports. So, I made my appointment. First impressions are often strong indicators of a person's character yet they can sometimes be inaccurate too. To my relief, Dr. Go (my nickname for him) showed himself to be a great listener, a knowledgeable professional, a caring human, and doctor with integrity. These traits continued throughout our year long relationship. His understanding of the range of physical, emotional, and mental challenges that I would be "walking through" allowed me to keep going with confidence. I'm pleased to report that both feet are in shoes, my daily movements & tasks are returning to normal as is my time on the yoga mat, in nature, and I can shop for hours! You could say I'm very close to "dancing with the stars"... ALL PAIN FREE! Added "FOOTNOTE": My feet have never been so pretty! I would confidently recommend Dr. Go to every and anyone... I sincerely thank you for giving me a renewed sense of grounding in my life. Feather....

The only good experience I had here was with the feont desk. Let me start by saying I am not a dirty person. I have a few tattoos. Im a bit overweight but I just had a baby. I had x-rays done on my ankles at Providence and they referred me to Dr. Goforth. I also have AllCare OHP because I am currently a stay at home mother of a two year old. My partner works fulltime. We are not mooching off the government. I used to be a medical assistant for a PODIATRY DOCTOR. When I saw my x-rays I immediately saw that I had bone spurs and probably Haglund's syndrom. Mind you, I am not a DOCTOR. With that said.... They took me to the room. The blond MA barely spoke. He seemed nervous. He put gloves on to take my BP. He threw a paper under my feet like I had the plague. Then Dr. Goforth came in in a hurry with his assistant, Levi. He wiggled the bumps on the back of my feet and said "you have tendinitis." I was perplexed. "Did you look at my x-ray?" He says, "ah, ah, no I haven't looked at them yet." Dumbfounded I said "well you would notice I have two spurs on the top of each heel...." He says, "Everyone has heel spurs and most people learn how to live with them." I was so traumatized at this point I gracefully declined the $60 ORTHOTICS (oldest podiatry trick in the book) and left the office. I went to the physical therapist and she confirmed Haglund's Syndrom. I have to go to a REAL PODIATRIST now. So, Dr. Goforth, if you are reading this, you should be more concerned about the patient than the money, because karma is going to get you eventually. Nameste. (They also didn't send over my RX until I called 3 times asking about it. Failed to mention it would go to a Portland apothacary as opposed to my pharmacist. This place is a joke.)
