image They were a lot better before the Twin Star merger. Which they never stop blabbing about as though anyone wants to wait the extra seconds it takes to remind us over and over. Wait/response times are ridiculous. Computer glitches are frequent. Other family members and personal clients have accounts and we have all had problems. Returned checks that shouldn't be returned. Perfectly good deposits that weren't honored or returned weeks later for no good reason or assistance to rectify. Issues with loans and applications. Customer service issues (aka rude reps) and a lot of difficulty for members who have impairments without any consideration or modifications to accommodate other than power of attorney suggestions which are wildly inappropriate. They became inconsistent and have poor performance and judging by the responses to all the bad reviews they aren't taking responsibility for not being a good credit union anymore.If switching weren't such a pain I would have already but I'm waiting until I start my new job and set up the direct deposit. I generally only write reviews if they are positive because every business can have a bad day. This is my first ever bad review because they are consistently disappointing. I feel like warning people. That is still a positive interaction.

Good morning, AshleyThank you for leaving a review and expressing your concerns. I do need to clarify a few things. You are correct that we recently merged with TwinStar Credit Union. However, any concerns you have with us have nothing to do with the merger. It takes time for financial systems to be combined, new policies to be implemented, etc. We are currently the same NWCU you've been a part of for countless years. With that said, I'm sorry we've let you down. We understand our current wait times can be inconvenient. This is one of the things that will be rectified once TS and NWCU are fully combined, as we'll have more team members to take more calls. It's worth noting that we also offer a robust online banking system and app for your general financial needs. As for glitches, we do not have computer issues frequently. And even the ones we do have will occur less as we begin the process of upgrading our systems. When you refer to your deposits being returned, I'd need more information to correct that issue. There are exceedingly few reasons why a check or cash deposit wouldn't be posted. Can you also expand on the issues you've faced with your loan app? Please email us at [email protected] with more info.As for our services in regard to individuals with impairments, disabilities, etc., we are an ADA-compliant institution. If you or someone you know is the legal guardian of a person, then yes, Power-of-Attorney is an option. As are Rep-Payee accounts. Both of these aforementioned options require paperwork you get from lawyers and/or government organizations. Whether or not we can open a POA or Rep-payee is dependent on the paperwork a member brings in. Alternatively, we also offer joint accounts. image I have been with them for over 25 years. I have had several problems in the last few years but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of starting a new account elsewhere. Then today I got a call that the the check I deposited via mobile banking was being taken out of my account because it wasn't clear. ( I looked at it and I can't figure out what isn't clear)
So I sign in to look at my account and everything from the last 2 1/2 weeks is gone. Every transaction. So I call to see why. I give my name, account number, phone number and address. They ask for a recent transaction which I can't see, so they want to send me a focusing to attach my ID to, sign and send back! So I sat I had a payroll deposit on Wednesday and I told them my employers name and the amount and they wouldn't accept anything except focusing. I just want my account updated and honestly my check deposited. The copy is clear. I am definitely going to find a new financial institution. So sad after all these years.
