We have been here over a year. All of the staff, maintenance and leasing office, are easy to work with and have always been kind. Great location, quiet neighbors and thankfully lots of parking. The rent is the best price we have seen for what we are provided!

I lived there in the 2000s the manager at the time was hostile and confrontational. When I proposed the desire to get a medium sized service animal the lady with 3 yappy rat dogs lost her composure and told me I could not have a medium sized service dog... Even though there were several full sized dogs in the apartments. I hope that woman died a horrible death and those stupid little dogs chewed her face off!

Charles Point enables crime and may abruptly terminate your lease with no cause. I am a current resident, although not for much longer. Management has chosen to terminate my lease without cause and will not reveal any further info, helpfully citing that Oregon law doesnt require them to do this. If you are a clean, quiet tenant who pays rent on time - be warned, they may still choose to take your home away with no explanation. Crime in the neighborhood is also rampant. My girlfriends backpack, laptop and switch were stolen out of her car. After calling the police and filing a report, we approached the office and asked if they could be of any assistance with camera footage. We were told in clear terms that there are NO WORKING CAMERAS anywhere in the area despite signs to the contrary. Much later, the office manager tried to backtrack on this - but never offered an explanation or an apology for why we were initially lied to. The office staff lacks kindness, empathy and communication skills. They quickly become combative and will needlessly escalate a situation to the point of hostility rather than approach with an attitude of service or respect. At Charles Point, you are treated and expected to behave like cattle. Good riddance.
