Motel 6 Lincoln City, OR

The room was fine and the price was very do-able. It was kind of late when I checked in so i didn't fuss too much over the 100$ deposit they asked for. Knowing I would get it back in the am, I was good with everything. I didn't even use the roomexcept for the shower. The next day I was slow going due to medical reasons that caused me to be an hour late checking out. I asked for a late checkout and was told by the drunk behind the counter that was not an option. So I went to my room to retrieve my things. I was 1 hour late getting outta there and when I went to get my deposit, the troll on the other side of the counter informed me that I was not getting my deposit back. I could barely understand the slurring of her words, the alcohol stench mixed with urine was heavy upon her. In disbelief I tried to reason with the lady. A 100$ is a lot when your struggling. Nowhere in the paper that I signed did it say I forfeit my deposit for being late. She then threatened me with the police when I tried to tell her that my medical related reasons for me checking out late. Her name was Tina and she was a rude, disrespectful their who admitted that she often keeps peoples deposits and I couldn't do anything about it. I was horrified. Today is my birthday and I was traveling outta state to see my grandma. Now I can't go cuz that was all the money I had. She literally cackled as I left in tears. Wow!

Love this hotel. We've stayed here many times in the last 19 years. Close to the beach and the casino. We love that we can bring our dog too.

Whatever the staff is being paid here it isn't enough. I was discharged from a nursing facility that I was put in after a life threatening injury, part of the recovery being hip surgery. I was put up at the Motel 6, but the motel management and myself were kept in the dark as to how long the room was rented and other important stuff that I doubt could be accidentally forgotten. But at any rate I was treated like a Prince and the coffee tea towels soap room sanitation etc were perfect splendid sublime I think that every person who works there is an angel. And hubba hubba. If I ever stand up and toe the line and become part of America's workforce again I am certain that the debt I owe is a motivator. You guys rock and I mean with amplifiers and Epiphones cranked to eleven. Peace. Safety: It ain't wheelchair friendly anywhere in the motel. The staff were very quick and friendly to help get through doorways and everyone was topnotch with hygiene and again hubba hubba.
