Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln City, an IHG Hotel

This place is amazing. The rooms are wonderful and cozy, grounds are well kept and clean. The hot tub and pool are a great place to relax, breakfast is hot and delicious! (((Strange thing happened to us on the night of Sunday the 31st of March 2024 on our way back from the casino though. We arrived back from our billiards event at the casino and the front door was locked up with a sign taped to the glass saying this door is locked. This was not the case any of the three days we had stayed here prior. It was ran normally which was great. There was a man and woman that was working at the front desk at the time and the woman spoke to us through the door and said "if we're guests we have to use our key at a side door because the front door is locked." ('Strange' My partner and I think but we proceed to the side door with our room key for entry) Upon entering the lobby she tells us rather arrogantly, "we've been robbed, that's why we keep the main door locked after 10pm.))) Undeniably strange the way they both acted and spoke. I'm not understanding why you would lock the lobby doors of a motel next to a casino with a man working in the lobby prior to midnight, (maybe hire security) But it poses the question are you a robber or an inquiring potential guest? If I hadn't already had a room and a key to enter with I'd have surly hated the interaction with those two. Can you imagine renting a room yelling through a glass door that is locked, kind of like visiting an inmate in prison trying to get a room..... no thanks!

Nice location for the coast. Close to the beach and the casino. Great family place

Never a good sign when you check in, open the door to your hotel and it stinks like cigarettes and just an overall lack of cleanliness. Walls are paper thin so you could hear your neighbors without much effort. Lady at the front desk when we checked in seemed disinterested, same way I feel about staying here again. Continental breakfast wasn't bad.
