Farmers Insurance - Hector Zavala

After paying Farmer's for home insurance for 17 years, no claims ever, I received a cancellation notice by mail. The reason? a drone flyover had identified that my roof looked "too old". No communication from them, no agent reached out, no prior request from them to connect about this issue. I phoned the agent, who said this letter was to "cause you to connect with us to problem solve". To which I replied - "starting with a threat is probably a poor way to create a mutual solution" . I am dropping this company - the letter was rude and abrupt, and their agents should be much more proactive with their loyal clients. This could have been avoided - now I will warn everyone I possible can not to do business with Farmer's. They willingly take your money for years, but put no effort into decent service.

Got transferred with him and have nothing but headaches since I started. Does not pick up the phone, office always seems to never answer, will place vehicles on wrong policy or mess up something in your policy and take forever to fix it. Ended up leaving and now still being charged a month later since hes not canceling my policy. Will take legal action of this isnt fixed soon. go elsewhere! Not worth it here. Only thing he will do full effort is try to sell you life insurance.
