Dr. Doug & Rhonda are awesome! I have never been to a better chiro...and I have been to so many! He is a wonderful chiro, actually takes time to figure out why you are having issues instead of just "adjust and be on your way". He changed my life, thats for sure!!

I highly recommend Dr. Carlstrom. His office staff is great and they make you feel welcome. I have always believed in chiropractic medicine and feel better now than I have in years!!

I came here at the beginning of January 2011 for my chronic headaches (which are now GONE) I also suffered from some manageable back pain (also GONE). My first visit was diagnostic in nature, no adjustments. This was at first disappointing, but now I recognize it as a sign of Dr. Doug's thoroughness.
First, Dr. Doug is a genius at what he does. I have been to several chiropractors and have received only temporary relief. Dr. Doug fixed me. I feel like I'm healed. I used to have unforgiving headaches probably 4 or 5 days a week. I was barely functional. But almost instantly after my first adjustment that number dropped to once headache about once a month when I'm stressed. And my headaches are nothing like they used to be. They're mild and manageable with ice or a pain reliever.
Second, the office staff is awesome. They're friendly and funny. It's a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Here is what you can expect: On our next visit he came up with a treatment plan where we met 3 times a week for about a month. At about a month we reduced our visits to twice a week, the next month it was once a week, and now I only go about once a month or as needed. I know this sounds like A LOT, and believe me, I was suspicious that this guy was just trying to pad his bottom line. But it absolutely worked. Nothing else has ever worked before. My pain is all but non existent. I get aches here and there, but I'm me again.
The only criticism I have is that sometimes you're stuck the waiting for awhile. Dr. Doug is just being as thorough with his other patients as he will be with you. As long as you've got a good book, relax. It's not so bad.
My advice is to give him candid feedback. I can remember one point where he adjusted me but I still felt a little off. I told him and he double checked and realized that there was something going on and fixed it. Feedback is really important, and he's happy to hear it. He's also happy when you say thank you. Because this is one guy who deserves it.
I cannot recommend this place with more enthusiasm.
