They put an oil additive in my truck during fluids flush and service without my approval. I had to leave the next morning for Colorado to see an army buddy who is terminally Ill, the service manager was gone for the day as it was end of the day on Friday. This has been disputed with Lithia customer service. When I returned from my three week trip I spoke with the service manager, he offered to flush my trucks fluids for free. I had already put the truck back in storage and removed the insurance. Besides, flushing my trucks fluids after thousands of miles won't correct the BG additive that was already put in my system, it would have impacted the seals and soft metals. Since I spoke with the service manager Lithia customer service considers this matter closed. I disagree, but they are the huge corporation now aren't they? This is about trust, I was not given the option of that additive used in my truck, I only use what the manufacturer recommends. I guess it's time to spend my money somewhere else.

They lie. They will charge you the fee without asking you for repairing other stuffs that you've never heard of when you get an inspection. And when you complain about it, they will threat you with putting the older one back which is more damaged when they were trying to take it out and possibly will cost more money because it can't do the job anymore. Eventually, you will have to satisfy with a "coupon" which is worth less than 20%. *Additional notes I talked to my friend whod worked as a Toyota engineer over 20 years, and he told me there is a possibility they damaged the cover intentionally, because the cut (as you can see on the picture) is too clean to be natural. Its a clean cut done by a tool. And I still remember one of the staffs there threated me by putting the old one back in.
