    For many people the situation Im about to share would be a nightmare situation but I always believe that dealing with someone or a business during turbulent times says a lot more than when everything is going well. The way that Stone Heating and Air has responded to this situation is the reason for the five star review. Many business can do a good job of installing but I dont believe many can take the time, money and effort to fix and handle a situation like Stone Heating and Air has. I contracted Stone heating and Air to do a complete restoration of my heating and air system. Matt, presented several options available for the challenges presented with my home. We came to a conclusion of mini splits being the best for the house given our budget. Matts team was quick, professional, and flexible with the installation as I was pretty picky with certain things. Once the installation was complete we had a new system that we thought was working well. After a few weeks and months with the system I noticed that something was not right. I called Stone heating and Air and they quickly sent someone out to look at the system. They too noticed something was wrong. They trouble shot the system and did some Freon calculations. They then emptied the system and refilled to manufacture specifications. Once complete the system appeared to be working. Well shortly after that fix the similar issues came up again. Once again I called them back and they were back to work on the system. This occurred several times over the course of about a year. Through the whole process Matt and his team were very responsive and out to help right away. I then started doing additional research on the specific system and the units that were installed. I went on the Carrier website and read their documentation. I found out that one of the units that was recommended by the Carrier rep was not actually compatible with the outdoor unit. I will say Stone Heating and Air was at no fault for installing the system this way as the indoor unit was recommended by their Carrier rep. To find the information I had to read the units technical sheet line by line word by word and even then It was very difficult to see that Carrier makes this note in very small print at the button of the tech sheet. Matt, was very receptive to my feed back. I sent him the documentation and he passed it along to their Carrier reps. Shortly after I had a new unit installed one that was compatible to the heat pumps installed. I was also cut a check for the difference in price for the units. This situation has demonstrated what taking care of your customers truly looks like.

    I called Stone Heating and Air on 3pm on a Friday with a dead ac unit. They offered me a Saturday appointment. I asked if it was possible to get someone today since my renter was hosting a birthday party on Saturday. By 6pm Friday the unit was up and running. I was surprised at the willingness to work a Saturday, let alone the willingness to reroute people and make things happen so quickly. As for my bill it was less than I have paid others just to come out and look at my other units. I recognize that they went above and beyond for this unique set of events and would never expect a business to be able to accommodate in this manner consistently. The underlying point id like to make is the ease and manner that they a took MY problem and quickly and professionally solved it. They are now in my short list of preferred service providers. Thank you for a going above and beyond, I hear you saved the Party! Update: WoW how time Flies, Stone has continued to take care of my rentals and primary dwelling. I seem to be a bit of a frequent flyer as I need their services at one place or another at least once a year. they continue to provide excellent customer service and care about the work they do. Stone is a good local business.

Gonzalo thank you for your review. It certainly was frustrating for both of us as we worked through that unit not working properly! I appreciated your patience as we kept trying working with the Carrier Tech support and honestly its a little embarrassing that our homeowner is the one who found that tech bulletin about the Infinity highwall head not working in the configuration we had it in - but I am glad you found it! Ductless mini splits are an amazing way to heat and cool your home and it does not take much for them to be offline so diligence in responding to a call is very important to us. Our name is on it so we always want to do the best job we can. We thank you for your business and deeply appreciate you sharing your experience with others.
