        Before you enter into any kind of business arrangement with this company, go to the office and park in front to see how the owner treats you. On multiple occasions the owner, Connie, has ran out of her office to ask me my business, as if she's entitled to know, and when I've told her that I have business in the building she has continued to berate me. The last time I started recording, and have 3.5 minutes of Connie screaming at me and insulting me. Connie topics include: that I should tell her why I'm there, that I should leave a note in my car so she knows why I'm there, that my presence personally offends her, and that my headlights (which are automatic) also offend her because they shine into her office. I would never enter into any relationship with this unhinged woman, let alone invite her into my home. Very unprofessional.

        Connie and her staff are phenomenal to work with, extremely professional, and bring the best customer service with a local flavor to Bend. I cannot recommend Hummingbird Property Management highly enough. In the housing market of Bend, Connie and her team are by far and away the most knowledgeable and personable property management company in the space, which is EXTREMELY rare in Bend Oregon. Five stars hands down.

        I lived at a house for 5 years when Connie took over the property management. Within the first 8 months we at 3 property inspections inwhich she demanded that one of our roommates(who works nights) leave the room during his sleeping hours. She didn't work around his schedule and was very rude about it. Because of this me and this other roommate moved out. Upon moving out she made it very difficult for us to remove ourselves from the lease. She was also an hour late to a meeting she demanded we have. Upon moving out she was very intrusive, questioning our decision. After we moved out, the roommates who stayed connected the property owner, the owner had Connie removed as property manager. Connie is very intrusive and doe not respect tenants privacy.

      Dear Kaelynn -- Altho you are not a client of mine, and really have no business placing your 'review' in this space, which is about reviewing a business, not a personal issue having nothing to do with the business, I do feel that a response is required. As I tried to explain to you, the 7 parking spaces that are outside of this suite of offices are rented by the tenants of just these offices, of which there are 6 different companies sharing these spaces. We regularly have problems with persons, who are not patrons of these businesses, parking there and going to the restaurant or to some other part of the building. Several of the tenants of this suite of offices are forced to defend our paid for parking spaces because of the disrespect of the signs that say Private Parking. You did not enter this suite of offices, hence, my assumption you were not patronizing any of these businesses. Without asking, I have no way of knowing your intent if you don't enter our lobby. All you needed to tell me was that you had an appointment with one of the counselors in this suite of offices. I would have thanked you, and that would have ended the conversation, however, you would not say with whom you had an appointment. This is a huge building with many offices in it, and parking is designated as only so many per suite. I do not understand why you couldn't just say you had an appointment with one of the counselors, and that would have justified your legally being able to park in one of our spots - head lights and all. You just kept saying you had an appointment 'in the building'. I believe we were both raising our voices, as there did not seem to be any resolution in our conversation. I apologize for my behavior, and I apologize for what seems to have been a bad day for you, but actually, altho I didn't suggest it, that might be a really good idea to leave a note on your car saying what office you would be visiting. That way we wouldn't have to encounter one another at all.

      Hello Mike -- I do so apologize for the experience you feel you have had with Hummingbird Property Management Company. I do need to clarify that never have we asked a tenant to leave a bedroom that he was sleeping in, so I'm not sure what you feel occurred. We will always try to work around a tenant's schedule, however in researching the history about your inspections during your residency there, I find no indication that we had been contacted to re-schedule. We took over management on August 5, 2022, which, as I understand had been changed at least 2, maybe 3, previous occasions. Our first inspection took place on 9/15/22. We found several items that needed attention and had them work ordered. I do see that we scheduled again on Jan 26th. That was to address any potential issues that needed to be considered before issuing a 90 day notice of any changes due for a new lease and again found items of repair and maintenance that needed to be addressed. Your notice to vacate occurred at the end of March and the process for responding to your request to vacate was quite standard and was followed in a legal manner. I apologize for the delay in our meeting. An emergency circumstance could not be altered. I do want to apologize for any lack of respect for your privacy you felt I showed. That is not how I operate and I want to wish you the very best of luck in all your future tenancies and hope that you will find situations more satisfactory to your personal requirements.
