Velocity...Lindsay and crew...are extraordinary property managers. Professional, prompt response on questions, repairs, payments, rental laws. I live out of the area. I purchased a rental house in early 2021 which I've not yet seen. Lindsay expertly managed a nervous tenant rental renewal plus various property repairs revealed on the inspection. I have full confidence in Velocity and highly recommend them for tenants and property owners. They are really the best I've worked with in either Portland or Bend.

Velocity management was mildly hands off and pleasant when we were tenants. Upon move in, there were nails still in the walls, holes in the garage walls, paint scuffs, various stains, holes in the ceiling from something/someone in the attic, nicks in cabinets, and cleaning that wasnt done when were moved in. Overall in good condition but these defects were noted on our move in sheet. While we were tenants, they were not very accommodating with scheduling required inspections around our schedule, they would choose and date and time for us and enter if we werent home. We had to live with the rug upstairs majorly pulling up because they said they couldnt repair this while living there. My biggest complaint comes from the move out process. We requested a move out walk through the last day of our lease but were told they couldnt accommodate until days later. Although this was at their request, they still threatened to charge us for not returning keys before we could even do our move out walk through. Although the house was left cleaner than when we moved in, at the move out walk through they demanded additional cleaning to avoid being charged. They provided a written list of items noted during this walk through and all were taken care of other than repairing holes for TV mounts and shelving (which we were instructed not to fill per the lease), painting, and a required carpet cleaning fee. Once we received our deposit back, we were charged the carpet cleaning as required and an outrageous amount for the hole repairs and painting ($1,125), including the attic holes/access even though that was there when we moved in. We were also charged for them to change the landscaping which was not discussed in our walk through. We trimmed all landscaping before moving out, however they chose to cut down natural plants/bushes to their roots and charged us for it. Another thing to note is they said they do not hire professional cleaners at their expense between rentals (or do any of their own cleaning). Above all I found Stevie to be unprofessional and rude at our move out walk through and would not rent with velocity again for this reason alone.

Great property management company. Lindsey and crew did a super good job of managing our property when we explored Mexico for 3 years.
