Just want to take the time to say how efficient, consistent, and considerate this team is. This company from day 1 has made everything extremely easy from the application process, from response time, and getting us into a beautiful home for my wife, baby girl and black lab. Not once but twice, weve been with them for a few years. Karisa was exceptional and her turn around on tasks is rapidly structured. Ive just never had this experience with a management company in all the states weve lived. Happy to say we just renewed another lease with them. And recommend to anyone in central Oregon if youre looking for a good company to rent from that cares about there tenants. This is the place to call. Mt Bachelor Property Management will deny that I ever lived in their properties. It's what they do to a lot of their negative reviewers. I can say with certainty how bad their communication was with their tenants. So many issues with the home and rarely a response and if there was a response, it was never followed up with a solution. We needed quite a few things fixed in our home and we were told not to fix it ourselves and that a mechanic would come and fix it. No one came. We followed up, and nothing was ever solved. We lived with multiple parts of the home broken and had to improvise in order not to die in the heat and smoky-ness months of Bend. Do we open the windows and cough ourselves to exhaustion or do we keep the windows closed and melt in the heat? AC problems was only one of the many problems we faced with this company. It was miserable. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM, BEWARE! They do not care about you, they just care to get paid.

My mother and I rented from this property management company. This was the first and last time I will ever rent from a property management. As a prior homeowner who was returning to Bend, Oregon after not living there for twenty years, I wanted to rent before I bought a home. I was pregnant at the time and explicitly asked if this was a quiet location, I was told it was; however, it was not. The entire street was under construction for the full duration I lived there. For the first full month, the internet was not available due to a wiring issue from the builders. There were two storage sheds in the backyard so the neighbors could come in and out of our yard as they pleased. Luckily, for the majority of the time I lived there no one lived next to me. This was helpful, as the construction of the walls are thin as well, so if you have a neighbor you will hear them. Next, the a/c and heater units did not work properly so during the winter it was cold downstairs. Lastly, water drained from the pipes in the walls and flooded the bathroom floor. We eventually sued and won the lawsuit! We left the place completely spotless only to be charged a large cleaning fee

I find it very unethical that you have to pay an application fee before they will show the property. Then once I decided that it wasn't right for me, they would not refund the application fee. If I had seen it first, I would not have even applied.
