    Carr is excellent. As transplants it was important to find a qualified services for our Subaru. After researching I found CARR and I am grateful! CARR first provides excellent communication and service. They are a group with integrity, all repairs and service are completely transparent. They are trustworthy and knowledgeable, and all staff are on the ball with anything which needs to be done- communication=excellent. Work=excellent And if you have the chance to visit and bring your car in you will be greeted by a warm staff with smiles and impeccable service. As an added bonus, snack and coffee/tea if you choose to wait. And should the service take longer than one day they offer rentals for a very, very low price of $25/daily.

    **2/27/24 - Review update** Revising review from 1 to 3 stars based on Service Mgr Ryan Herrle actually following through on his investigation and getting back to me with his findings (Ryan, personally, has always provided great service). Ultimately, he offered a service $ credit and apologized for the internal dept. communication breakdown that led to the excessive quote / work recommendation on the Impreza. He also used my experience as a training oppty for his dept. *************************************** Initial Review I'll try to keep this short. I'm a long time customer of CARR Subaru having bought 2 Outbacks there and have been using their Service Dept exclusively. I always received great service there and recommended them until my recent experience. My wife took her 2019 Impreza with 28K miles there for an oil change recently and a Service adviser recommended a $1500 front brake overhaul. **Not a typo - $1500 for front brakes. I called back Service and asked for clarification on the recommended repairs and was told that the quote was so high due to a need to replace all components including seizing brake calipers. I declined the service as it raised some serious red flags on such a low mileage car. I ended up taking the car to an independent shop for a second opinion and they did extensive testing based on the download I received from CARR. They found the calipers to be working fine, the pads were worn and needed replacement but no excessive or uneven wear indicating any caliper issues or any excessive heat after extensive road testing. I ended up paying $250 for a routine brake job (new pads & rotors turned) vs. $1500 quote at CARR. I spoke to Service Mgr at CARR as well as notifying the Dealer Principal of my poor experience and what I ultimately paid for the brake service. They are going to "investigate" the issue and were sorry about what happened. ok. Be careful of any recommended work (this goes for any shop) and definitely worth getting a second opinion if your spidey sense goes off.
