We have been here about a month and ate feeling at home. The very first thing I noticed was the friendliness of staff and residents. No question was ignored and help has always been available . The food is unbelievable! Sometimes institutional food gets a pretty bad rap. I have to say the food here at Brookdale Grand Prairie is a cut above the rest and goodness,from the salads, to soups, to entree, to dessert, we never leave the table hungry . There is also a weekly meeting with the chef to talk about the menus. Today a group of us went to Mary's Peak and had a great time on the bus. There are so many activities to do that it's hard to get to them all . We have a chapel, a library,laundry, meeting room, as well as a spa/ gym area.
We have been pleasantly surprised and are looking forward to calling Brookdale Grand Prairie home for years to come.

My mother has enjoyed living at Brookdale. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They truly care about the well being of all their residents. When I visit, I have always felt very welcomed. Any concerns Ive had are addressed immediately and efficiently. I appreciate the kitchen staff and their willingness to cater to the needs of each resident. Thank you for making Brookdale a loving, caring environment. You are appreciated!

The food they serve my family here is unacceptable. They pay for 3 meals a day and eat maybe one a day. How would you feel if they served your family lunch meat covered in gravy? The food has been a serious issue for months and no one will do anything about it.

I have been a resident at Brookdale Grand Prairie for nearly three years and am very happy here. I have a 2-bedroom cottage that is spacious and homey. I also have a laundry room with washer/dryer which is most convenient. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. They care for us like family and serve our needs beautifully. We have meals in the dining room and the food is excellent. We have an opportunity to provide input on the menu and are given many choices. The grounds are near a park and nature trail with views of wildlife. There are many activities planned for residents both within the facility and without. I've made many good friends here and consider this my home now and in the future.

Here at Brookdale Grand Prairie the associates is very dedicated to our residents. We have such a dedicated team when there's any challenges our team will rise up and figure out the best solution for the issue. I have been working here about 6 months now, the residents and associates feels like family. I can't say enough about this community, the associates, mangement and residents are awesome. I would move my mother here when that times comes because I know she would get the best care here. I can't recommend it enough.
