Aloft Tulsa Downtown

I usually stay here on business trips because of the great location and I am a Marriott Platinum for life. With no notification to me at all I was disturbed by hammering next door due to carpet change. My floor smells like glue. Went to the front desk and was told the hammering would end by 7pm. That's it. Nothing else. I'm checking out in the morning. There are other hotels to choose from. I wont be staying here again. Also, if you let the hot water run long enough, it turns cloudy. Didn't notice this before.

Great location. The PD is just around the corner, so they'd least expect it. And if you ever need to go to court, that's next door as well. Hmm, no wonder there were a bunch of lawyers. The rooms were another story. I stayed here twice and both rooms had puddles outside the shower after showering. One shower was missing the entire bottom seal. Also, the two switches that control all the lights are by the front door. Beds were comfortable and views were great though. The main entrance is to the left after you enter the gate, but it's not obvious considering how the parking lot is set up. If only they used one of those, what is it? Signs! Staff were all great, helpful and informative. I copied the below from one of their wall placards if you can't see it in its photo: "Built in 1969 as the original City Hall of Tulsa, the building was renovated and opened as Aloft Tulsa Dowr.town in 2013. Our historic building still includes aspects of the original structure, such as exposed walls in certain rooms, that remind us of the building's past. Our plaza is in the heart of the city and is home to other significant Tulsa buildings like the Police Department and County Court House. We hope you get to spend some time exploring Tulsa to learn about the city's history, as well as see all of the new and exciting things happening outside our doors."

We and some friends were planning on staying at this hotel but we were discriminated against They were very racist and prejudice for no reason we are very respectful and did nothing but we refuse service. We are all professional successful business owners.

This video of this employee being rude, disrespectful and discriminating against these people is horrific! Not only is it over priced but the treatment of guest is very unprofessional.
