        I bought a complete new system 7 years ago. Every spring they had to come out and add freon. They found a leak in the A coil, the connection at the compressor, and a leak in the compressor itself. My old system lasted 25 years. They are out repairing the compressor again as it started making a loud noise. Apparently it's not that hard to stop a trane.
