PriMED Physicians Centerville Family Practice

All of my children have been going here since we moved here 6 years ago. We see Dr. Morrison. We've always had a great experience, and never a problem to get in to be seen, and if Dr. Morrison isn't available during an illness or injury, they have made a way for us to be seen by another pediatrician. Dr. Morrison has always taken her time with us, and always helps us with any health problems or concerns we may have. One of my children had a birth defect and some other health concerns, and she has always been concerned with me and has done everything she can to make sure we keep her healthy and strong and on track. I think the staff and front end staff are very kind, never a problem, so I don't understand all of the other negative comments. The office is very clean and up to date and run smoothly and well. My only complaint is, that it is true, you wait on hold 10 mins or more most of the time to get someone to answer the phone.

Some of the doctors (who have now left, apparently) were decent, but the place overall is poorly run and borders on useless for regular care. I tried to get flu shots this year and was told to "call back in a couple weeks" due to some sort of schedule confusion...so I did, and was told the same thing again. I wasn't going to wait until December for flu shots, so we went to a different place. A few weeks later, I called due to illness and they say I couldn't come in because yet another of my doctors had left the practice and I would need to get set with a new one first. They've also dropped various members of our family as patients for not coming often enough (maybe because we end up using Kroger/CVS clinics for everything because this place is a mess). Time to switch the whole family to a place that's more organized and helpful.

Avoid at all costs. This practice is one of the absolute worst in the area and probably the state. They let go of the good physicians and now have doctors that lie to patients. The staff is clueless and always seemed annoyed to have to take vitals etc. I would honestly go to a urgent care or ER if you cannot find another PCP. The lack of integrity and empathy just does not exist here. Run far away...

Dr L Sommers is awesome. She takes time to listen to you as a patient. Never did feel that she was in a hurry. She had great ideas to move me forward on my health. She is golden. I have waited a long time to have a truly great physician.
