Dr. Teater has been my PCP for 10 years and continues to be an excellent caregiver. Whenever I have my annual appointment he never rushes and ALWAYS asks if there is anything else to discuss before concluding the visit. He is a down to earth, friendly, smart MD that I'll continue to see as along as he practices.

Dr. Teater doesn't care about you. You can tell by the way he rushes all his appointments. There are some doctors that are in it to help people, and some doctors who are in it for the money. He is in it for the money. He doesn't listen intently, he just wants to prescribe you something and send you on your way. I was recommended by my therapist to get a referral for a brain scan for possible seizures. Dr. Teater did not put seizures on my symptoms list, but DID include OCD, which leads me to believe that he doesn't think I actually have seizures, he just thinks I'm "crazy." When I tried to reach him about this he was never available, and I was told to leave a message and he would return my calls. He never returned my calls. All Dr. Teater wants to do is keep up his patient quota. He isn't here to help you.

Terrible experience. My dad has been going to this practice for years and saw Dr. Teater because his regular doctor wasn't available. My dad went to see him for bronchitis and a follow-up on a chest x-ray. Dr. Teater barely looked at the x-ray results and told my dad he was fine. My dad questioned him so he looked again and said that my dad did have pneumonia but doesn't anymore because he's on antibiotics. Well, two days later, my dad is in the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs. We understand mistakes are made but Dr. Teater acted like he couldn't care less about the results or the well being of my dad. How do you miss pneumonia in both lungs? We definitely do not recommend Dr. Teater.
