Rita is exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough. In all my years in business, she is the first accountant to sit down with me, ask questions, and help me clean up my bookkeeping while explaining everything in the process. I am glad she took over my account and have learned so much in our meetings.

Rita was very thorough and pleasant. She made sure she understood my business and went over my return in detail. She found an error on my prior year business return, amended it, and I received a substantial refund. I will definitely be working with Rita in the future.

My old accountant of 6 years retired and sold her client list to this place. My last accountant may not have been perfect but she was easy to work with and mistakes were small, if at all, and easily fixed. In becoming a client here and staying on I expressly stated I'd stay if my taxes stayed the same price and things got mailed out to me. I live in Englewood and this office isn't close. The last accountant was in Beavercreek and mailed out what I needed. I'm a zero income with a small business gained in a divorce paying off its debts. Not a hard file. Rita waited until 5 days before 1099s paperwork needed postdated to tell me she hadn't mailed it out to me for my 1099 worker and that I had to come get it. Wasn't pleased but did so. Upon arrival I handed her all my spreadsheets and tax items which has worked for the last 7 years. She argued about needing originals, questioned every itemization, and the fact I had a separate business line on my personal cell plan and wanted to know how often I used it for personal calls. Then she argued about my mileage deductions and how much square footage I actually used in my house as an office. It got ridiculous and I got talked down to. I turned everything into her the first week of January except for one item I was waiting on being mailed. Feb 22 she told me my taxes were done and she had upped the price by $50 without telling me. I expressed displeasure about that and she told me costs went up. I told her I would have to call her with a time to come in and pick them up since she again refused to mail them. I had a specialist appointment the next day and then a sedated procedure scheduled a few days later. I started calling her office March 1st to try and make an appointment. No one answered the phone all week or an email I sent. I tried calling the next week and sent a second email. I finally got a response 4 days after the second email full of excuses and blaming me for not coming in. First she claimed she can't answer a phone with client meetings. That she had hired someone to answer phones which wasn't true because in 2 weeks no one picked up. Ever. And then it was she was in the hospital. You don't find it prudent or necessary to tell clients you're unavailable and instead ghost them for 16 days? I told her in the email I was coming in to get my taxes and drop payment so there were no further issues and she refused and instead mailed them to me. This is literally the worst accountant firm experience I've ever had. I gave two stars because she actually did the work and it all seems correct. I'm sure she is a very competent accountant but all she did was complain about the old accountant and her client list and had the worst professionalism. I shouldn't have to chase down an accountant. She's only been registered as a business for nine months.
