Ive been seeing Dr. Grubb for a few years now. She is very intelligent and always seems to be up on the latest research. The best way I can think to describe her is a lifelong learner! She is intuitive and very in tune with what is going on with you, through analyzing your blood work and spending a sufficient amount of time with you at your visit. My last visit was over an hour long! I truly feel Dr. Grubb cares for and wants to see the best possible quality of life for her patients! I would give her the highest recommendation without hesitation!

This place is horrible. First of all, the receptionist is rude and doesnt want to work with you with insurance at all. Second of all, I went in for depression five years ago and was diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis among other things it turns out that this was a complete misdiagnosis. I only recently realized that Ive been dieting for years based on what she said, only to find out that, according to real doctors, I have absolutely nothing to warrant even testing for autoimmune conditions. Upon receiving basic blood work and a second opinion back, I was told that I had been completely misdiagnosed by Dr. Nancy. Furthermore, Dr. Nancy did not believe me when I told her how severely I reacted to gluten, nor did she suggest any tests. I recently discovered what tests I actually need to get run which she never suggested. This place is a huge waste of money that cant even get basic diagnoses right. Save your money and go to a real doctor. Because of her obsession on dieting fixing all health issues, I developed a worse eating disorder than I already had, believing that dieting would fix my nonexistent problems. In fact, in my diagnosis, the only thing she even prescribed was dieting. I was told that I could potentially have problems with weight gain further on down the road because of my supposed thyroid issue and was told to cut out dairy, sugar, and nearly all fruits. Im a size zero and always have been: in fact, Ive always been underweight. When she misdiagnosed me, she didnt bother to explain what Hashimotos even is or what it does to a person. I left having no idea what I had been diagnosed with or the repercussions.

For the last 6+ years I have had constant issues with my digestion and acne. So much so that it became the normal for me, and I didn't realize it was my body's way of telling me that something was wrong. I've went to other doctors that wanted to prescribe a pill to cure me and call it a day, when a pill would just add to the issues and not help what was hurting me overall. Dr. Nancy helped me with a food sensitivity test to see what was bothering me. After finding out that gluten, among other things, was the main contributor, she helped me understand what next steps and what supplements to take to help me, among other things. She really took the time to explain everything to me and break everything down, which is huge for a doctor to do in my opinion. She didn't rush, and I found her extremely accessible as a doctor. Below are pictures of my skin before and after cutting out gluten. I noticed that the redness and breakouts disappeared almost immediately. I also included a picture of my skin before (in it's best non-gluten state) and after eating gluten, to show how it would break me out. It seems trivial, but after struggling with acne and other major issues it felt SO good to finally have answers and a reason for why these things were happening to me. You can trust that if you go to Optimal Health you're going to be taken care of. Thank you Dr. Nancy!

I have been seeing Dr. Nancy for 5 years. She is well worth the trip from Mentor, OH. She has been treating me for Hashimoto's and Adrenal Fatigue. She is very caring and listens to what I have to say. She is very knowledgeable . She has helped me get my health back. I do not know what I would do without her.
