I agree with the last person. The facility is beautiful & clean. Therapist are all very good. I don't understand if short staffed or unqualified workers. Housekeeping excellent. I am not understanding why a friend of mine is there & suppose to be getting medications at certain times & I can deal with half hour late. But, when you're talking, hours late. Something is not right. Some other issues as well. And, when you do find in your room dialysis papers for other people this is most disturbing. So, send me that little number - or I will on the last comment get it. I would like to speak to the person in charge of the facility. I am just wondering why do you accept these folks for rehab.? Like, I said the therapist are attentive & very good. But, when a patient cannot get their med.'s on time. When only 1 person in the bldg. is certified to check ' fix a pic line that was bleeding - and waited for hours - kept on being told the person had 2 other people to see - hours went by. There is someone not making the staff accountable to the needs of patients. Aides have been very helpful. I can't speak of the nurses, individually, I don't know which ones aren't giving the medications on time. I have came across in 6 days to nurses that were helpful. I don't know their names. I believe one was Maliek, she was very good, but it really was not her area - just over there for the evening. I am going to do some other investigating first & since someone said Administrative Staff is excellent & works to solve your needs, I will be interested to see what their solution is. How are they going to resolve the problems... Especially, when a person needs prescribed medication, so they are back on their way to be released. It is a shame, it appears as a beautiful facility & clean, but that is not going to get anyones love one recovered. ADDITION TO THIS.... The disturbing thing to me - I noticed this weekend very understaffed. So, the ones that are there working, cannot meet the needs to assist. It is not that these nurses don't want to they just don't have the manpower. Then, if one calls off, it is even worse. Tell, me how does a patient that is suppose to get a medication at 2 PM & the nurse never returns to give it. I need to find the poor nurse that came in to work, the later shift apologized over & over again, that she would do it as quickly as she could - that the other nurse must of left it for her to do & that was at 4.40 PM. The poor nurse did rush & she did - so it was not her fault. Administrative Staff answer this - would you want your love one treated like this? All very disturbing.... ADDITION: I hope to talk to someone there in the morning - not call no number, it is very upsetting to know again - all the medication was not given again today properly. Also feeding, not given at appropriate times. When a person is on a feeding tube & their feeds are not meet daily we have big issues. This place has set a person up for failure. Furthermore, so disturbed, I need to figure out away to advocate for every poor soul in there that is being neglected. The hospital sends someone to this facility to get their medication & feeds at properly intervals has not happened one day. I pray, the feeding & water was given tonight - it was already past two hours. Let's pray this patient has not lost more weight, or dehydrates. There to get antibiotic to take care of an infection & they even either miss his doses or hours late. I will seek out action, this is absolutely unbelievable - unacceptable. Last Friday, there was a call sent into Director of Nursing & No Return Call. Again, as I said before, more investigation, but I hope to see administrative staff member in the facility face to face not on some phone conversation. PLEASE DO NOT SEND A LOVE ONE THERE. Don't be fooled by the beautiful building. I still give credit to cleaning staff, therapist, nurses that can try & meet needs. Aides that have tried to assist they just don't have accurate someone needs to be accountable.

Ive heard from family members the facility is nice and thats the extent of any compliment. My father has been there for several days and their attentiveness to him and his needs have been horrible. To mention one specifically they took him to dialysis and the orders were for his roommate. We are in the process of getting him moved to another facility. Id give it zero stars, if it were an option.

Tallmadge Health and Rehab is a beautiful building with caring and attentive staff. The therapy department is fantastic, aids and nursing staff truly care and administrative staff do anything rhey can to resolve any issues quickly. I am proud to be part of this team!
