Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham St Clairsville

The hotel has plenty of spacious rooms to stay within, and each has its own bathroom and kitchen with unbelievable views of the nearby stores, restaurants, countryside, and sky. There just isn't much to do at the hotel itself, so that was my reason for only 4 Stars instead of 5 Stars. Rooms: Each room has its own shower, toilet, vanity and mirror, stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cabinets, television, bed, and even a couch/bed in some instances. Nearby activities: The hotel is located near the Ohio Valley Mall, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, St. Clairsville Lanes, Dollar General, and several restaurants. They are within 5-10 minutes of the hotel by car.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff at check in was very friendly. We were told breakfast started at 5:30 am. We were downstairs at 7:15 the coffee crafte had 1.5 cups of coffee left, and 3 creamers didn't lighten the 8 oz cup of coffee. Two employees were sitting in the dining room chatting with a guest. They made zero attempts to replenish the food or coffee. They talked to the guest about the cost of food, we ate and had to interrupt their conversation to ask where we could dump the coffee we couldn't drink. The hotel itself was nice, employees in the morning were not professional at all!
