Fore warning do not do it to yourself they use to be top notch not anymore just take heed to the warning they are a joke bad business

I deleted the account from the payment screen on my card and made a payment 4 days early. I used a new account to make my payments. A few days ago Discover drafted a payment from the old account. They said I failed to delete the account from the auto pay system. I had no idea it was two different systems. Do not do business with them. They refuse to do anything about the mistake that they made.

Dear Discover card, I have a been a faithful customer for over 3 year's. Then out of nowhere a letter was sent 2 days ago which I have not received, an email was sent on 2/15/2024 at 1:38 pm saying I had an urgent message, my app said my account was closed. I called a rep named Katie from Texas at 3:38 pm and she said my account was closed due to inactivity. I am frustrated! I loved that card! My balance was zero and I only used the card for emergencies and they decided without warning I wasn't making them enough money so they closed my account. This does not reflect well on my credit report and actually caused me financial harm. This is bad business in my opinion and not a good way to treat your customers. There is obviously something going on at Discover and I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this? Please comment...
